No 3 Coach house is the grandest of all our Coach houses. Originally created as coach houses and stables for the 19th Century Kinfauns castle, the Towerview Coach houses development, traditional stone B listed building in attractive courtyard setting has an idyllic and exceptional accommodation, restored to complement the glorious environment. with careful thought given to our guests enjoyment. Accommodation consits of Large Modern Kitchen, Spacious lounge with addtional dining area featuring an electric living flame stone fireplace. There is a sofa which can be turned down into a sofa bed for additional sleeping arrangements to allow the cottage to sleep up to 8 guests. 4 bedrooms - 2 single, 1 Twin , 1 master bedroom with en-suite, 1 bathroom and 1 Cloak Room. There is a private sun terrace to the rear of the property for outdoor dining.

Recently opened on site is The kinfauns stables which hosts an indoor Riding arena, guests can book to have riding lessons or go on hacks through the beauty of the surrounding kinnoull woodlands.

Ideal for large parties or families. Centrally located 2 miles from Perth and within 1 hours drive to Glasgow and Edinburgh.

About the Owner

The Towerview Coach houses are a family run buisiness owned by my parents Geoff and Joyce Brown. I am their daughter Susan. As a family we have stayed in and around Perth all our lifes so know the area really well. I have previously worked in retail, Catering and been working in the hoilday rental business for over 14years. My job is property manager, I am guests first contact when enquiring or booking our Coach houses and will assist in anyway I can. I also make sure that the houses are up to the high standard I myself would expect a holiday cottage to be.

My father is a joiner to trade, he started up his own house building company in 1970 (G.S.Brown Construction Ltd) which is now well established building their reputation on high quality affordable housing. He is the current owner of St.Johnstone Football club here in Perth and was the chairmain for over 25years before handing over the reins to my brother Steven. A new stadium, Mcdermid Park was built and opened in 1987. We highly recommend a lunch in the restaurant opened to the public monday to friday.

On the surrounding land around the coach houses they keep horses, some race horses and some that are used in the newly opened kinfuans stables. The stables have been opened as a charity riding for the disabled (RDA). Private lessons can be taken with all funds going to the charity. We have been delighted with the positive feed back from guests staying at The Coach houses and get great pleasure in seeing the faces of the children and adults with disabled and learning difficulties having such a great experience.

Weekend birthday break

A lovely cosy coach house in beautiful location. Well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook birthday celebration meals for six people. Very clean and warm. Only criticism is for six adult guests ( three men over 6') meant the two sofas in the lounge meant we were lacking relaxing space. Another sofa, armchair or even beanbag would be good ( especially as the house will sleep eight). Would definately return.

Short stay for wedding

A group of us stayed in Coach House 3 - the setting is fantastic and the accommodation was spacious. Susan, the manager, was very good at providing us with details of how to access the coach house in advance and provided us with contact details should we need anything else over the weekend. Winnie who stays at coach house 2 was very friendly and spoke when she saw us.

As far as I can tell linen and towels weren't provided for the couple who were using the sofa bed in the living room - but I'm sure if we'd asked at any point it would have been provided - just worth noting if you are using the coach house to capacity, which we were.

We'd have preferred to not have to book for three nights - although we did end up using it for three nights in the end - this is the reason for the slightly lower rating in terms of value for money.

We are asked often for 2 nights stay but the running cost of a large house and the work involved in turning the house over for future guests can not possibly be done on a rate for 2 nights stay. Linen and towels are provided for additional guests on request.

Coach House

Our family visit was very good, set in a beautiful quiet location only a short drive into Perth itself. There were plenty of things to do in the surrounding area and with Dundee and Edinburgh only short drives away a day to either it was easy for a day away.

The accommodation was superb and very comfortable, a real home from home.

I would highly recommend staying here to any of my family or friends and I hope to get back here again in the future.

A great place

What a lovely find. Tucked in the hills just a short drive from outside perth. The property was perfect for our small family party and was well equipped too. The stables next door provided my daughter the perfect opportunity of a hack in the beautiful surrounding country side. Would definitely recommend and would like to come back again.

Family Holiday

This is the fourth time we have been in these cottages a slight change this years as it is normally number 5 we stay in but unfortunately it was booked up but we did get into number 3 which was very nice just as spacious, beds were a little hard but I don't like hard beds anyway really enjoyed our time and my grandson managed to have a shot in the riding arena which he enjoyed will certainly be back.

There was no place like home to have our holiday cottages. Careful thought and attention has been given during renovations. We are forever maintainig the properties and keeping them up to date with everyday essentials. The location, comfort and outstanding archetecture on the B listed properties offers guests a unique stay from any other holiday. As a guest at the coach houses you will be treated like family not a booking reference number like most major holiday agencies. We have a high precentage of guests that return every year which speaks for itself.
