Beautiful apartment overlooking fantastic pool and only a short distance from the beach
We stayed at this holiday apartment with our two young children form one week. The accommodation was very clean, well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. There is a large balcony overlooking the pool area.
The pool itself was perfect for us with a relatively large main pool and connected paddling pool. The water was warm and kept very clean.
The residence is a four-storey apartment block with a reception area featuring pool table. The building is on one side on the pool with a steep bank with pine trees on the other side so is quite a picturesque setting.
Most of the apartments are let out by the owners of the building but this apartment is privately owned. The owner was very helpful and friendly in her communications prior to our arrival. She also employed a third-party concierge/housekeeping service for check in and check out who was also professional. The concierge was able to provide bed linen and towels (not included) and cleaning on departure (not included).
The town of Les Sables-d’Olonne is a wonderful seaside town. The are a large number of restaurants and bars, especially along the seafront and quayside. It has retained an authentic charm that is lacking from some more built-up resorts.
There are two beaches in the town. The nearest to the apartment is within walking distance and is the quieter of the two but both are very nice beaches to spend half a day at.
