This superb apartment is located on one of Edinburgh's finest Georgian Terraces. It provides sumptuous accommodation for up to two people and includes a grand living room, wonderfully equipped kitchen, stylish bedroom and luxurious bathroom. It also benefits from an additional WC and a TV room. Royal Terrace is a beautiful, cobbled Georgian street overlooking gardens to the front and rear. Princes Street and Waverley train station are just around a 10 minute walk away while the Playhouse Theatre and all the restaurants surrounding it are a 5 minute walk away. One of the finest restaurants in the city '21212' (one Michelin star) is located at the end of this street.

In August 2017, my husband and I spent 10 delightful days in this flat. Our only regret was that we did not stay longer. It far surpassed our expectations. The property manager Francois was excellent. He met us on time and with a great attitude and explained the property fully. Everything in the property was first class. The kitchen was ultra modern and all the appliances were first rate. There is a separate tv room which is quit nice and the two bathrooms which was an added bonus. We spent the morning sitting at the table by the front window just watching folks walk by. I can not say enough about this apartment. It far exceeded our expectations and we have stayed in many apartments in Europe. If we return to Edinburg in the future, we can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Pristine Edinburgh Apartment

Holy Moly, this place is beautiful, very well cared for and just what I was looking for. Stayed here for 7 nights and loved it. Nice big rooms, loved the high ceilings, enormous windows, super modern kitchen, comfy bedroom, huge soaking tub, and a second sitting room made for a very pleasant stay. Calton Hill is a 5 minute walk with beautiful views of the skyline. The Royal Mile, Princes Street and Holyroodhouse were all about a 10-15 minute walk away. I found it very nice to be close to the action, but not too close! Edinburgh is a romantic, beautiful city, can't wait to visit again!

Ideal location and size for a couple wanting to explore Edinburgh

The central location close to Calton Hill with its magnificent views over the city was perfect for us. Edinburgh is a beautiful city to walk around and explore and most of the 'sights' are within walking distance. On this occasion we spent a large part of one day at the Botanical Gardens which provided us with a fabulous display of rhododendrons. We visit Edinburgh quite often as a family but this was a lovely apartment for just the two of us. Francois was most helpful, meeting us on arrival and making sure we had all we needed. The apartment itself was spotless and well equipped for two (though I couldn't find a hairdryer). The kitchen worked well for me to cook in and it was nice having a smaller sitting room overlooking the garden with a tv to relax in as well as the large reception rooms. In spite of the grandeur of the terrace the flat had a homely feel about it that we appreciated.
