PROPERTY DETAILS:

This property was photographed in December 2014 and we do our best to present it exactly as it appears in the pictures. This two bedroom one bathroom unit was professionally designed so that our guests will have the most memorable time possible in this unit. The furnishings and rooms are new and items are updated periodically to ensure that our guests receive the same quality property or better than what is pictured.

NEIGHBORHOOD:

The East Village is one of the most fashionable and trendy neighborhoods in New York City. Conveniently located downtown, it features amazing restaurants, parks, easily accessible public transportation, and a vibrant culture.

AMENITIES:

The unit is fully equipped (dishes, silverware, Tupperware, toaster, microwave, stove, coffee maker, dishwasher, refrigerator, linens, TV, WIFI, washer and dryer, and more) to ensure that our guests will feel at home.

CHECK-IN PROCESS:

A host will meet you inside the unit the day of your arrival. All we will need is your flight/travel information in order to be able to welcome you on time.

Nice apartment, a great alternative to a hotel

This apartment is located in a nice building in a dynamic neighbourhood. It was spacious for a family of 4, a great alternative to a hotel in terms of size and facilities (washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen).

The apartment is located on the first floor of a clean, well-kept building. There is a flight of 17 steps to access it. Getting the key to work in the front door was tricky at first (we are Australian and our locks are completely different) but once we got used to it this was not a problem.

The heating was good, we stayed in January so this was essential (!), it was nice to come back to a warm, cosy apartment at the end if the day. There is a gas fireplace that is operated by the flick of a switch.

There was plenty of spare linen and towels, you could sleep 6 people here (4 in beds and 2 on the sofa which would easily be large enough).

The plug in the kitchen sink did not work, but this could easily be solved by bringing your own plug or buying a cheap one for your stay.

I really liked the neighbourhood, there are literally restaurants everywhere so eating out is easy. There are also a few grocery stores within an easy walk of the apartment, and the subway is also an easy walk away. The only downside of the neighbourhood was that the City was digging up the road in front of the building to replace water pipes during our stay which meant that the water to the apartment was shut off between 8am and 4pm on weekdays. But we left on 22 January 2017 and it looked as though they were almost finished so for future guests this will probably not be an issue.

I would recommend this apartment for a family or group looking to stay in an authentic Manhatten neighbourhood, for us it was a great alternative to a hotel.

Perfect apartment and location!

I can't say enough great things about our stay in the apartment on 10th street in the East Village. Every communication was quickly answered prior to our stay and check in could not have been smoother!

I was extremely impressed with the quality of the building, the apartment itself, and the surrounding neighborhood. Just a few blocks walk to the subway and an easy walk to NYU. Also close to local grocery stores.

We brought out 11 year old kids with us and we all were extremely comfortable in the apartment. We especially appreciated the ceiling fan in the living room and the air conditioning units in the bedrooms which kept us cool during a hot summer.

I will recommend this apartment to our friends and will definitely try to book it for our return trips to NYC!

Perfection!

Property is not only in a great location but is a comfortanle, well maintained place to stay at. We were 4 guys and we had no issues staying here, bedrooms were comfy and shower (which is key to start your day well) was very good. Owner was very understanding when we had issues with getting enough cash out on the day and was able to agree an alternative. Highly recommended and will definitely be looking here 1st when returning

A great jumping off point for our NYC Adventure

Visited the Big Apple over spring break with our adult children. This flat met our needs perfectly. In particular the responsiveness of the managing agency was excellent - both email and phone. (An initial little hiccup was rapidly resolved to our satisfaction.) The space and accommodations were great; meeting the needs of our four adults easily. As others have said, the location cannot be beat; close to subway, parks, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, nightlife etc...Just what we were looking for. Thanks so much.

Very nice flat!

A very nice flat right in the heart of the city. Very accessible to local stores and restaurants. Aside from being told we needed to pay an extra half day for a late check out, everything was great. We really enjoyed our stay in New York.
