Spectacular Villa at Wyndham Rio Mar - Villa Carpe Diem

This beautiful three bedroom Mediterranean style villa inside the Wyndham Rio Mar Grand Resort is perfect for your family vacation. If this is your first visit to Puerto Rico or your annual escape from the cold winter in the United States, this villa will become your home away from home. The Resort has everything you need for a great getaway. Puerto Rico's premier attraction, El Yunque National Rainforest, is just few minutes down the road and a visit to Old San Juan is just a short drive away.

All of our guests are welcomed at the hotel and can enjoy the various amenities offered including golf, tennis, the Casino, restaurants, gym and the Mandara Spa. (Hotel Pool has now been limited to Hotel Guests Only, other pools are available inside the resort for your use free of charge).

The hotel has two Championship Golf Courses (Ocean and River), a Tennis Center with clay and hard courts. And of course, there's the beach, a mile long secluded sandy beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean where you can enjoy activities such as jet skiing, kite surfing, surfing, windsurfing, snorkeling. Or just sit back and relax.

The villa is located in Cluster #2 which has its own recreational area with a newly renovated swimming pool and Gazebo for activities and grilling.

The villa has a spectacular view of the golf course (Ocean Course Hole 5). It has a cross ventilated layout which makes it ideal for enjoying the breathtaking tropical scenery from the outdoor terrace. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops & stainless steel appliances. Fresh linens and towels are provided. It has three air conditioned bedrooms, the Master bedroom has a king size bed, a full bathroom, Smart tv set . The second bedroom has a king size bed, a full bathroom and the third room has a bunk bed with a twin on top, a full at the bottom and a twin trundle bed underneath. Pay per View and On-Demand cable channels can be provided upon request. Wireless internet service is provided. There is a 55' LED Smart TV in the living room that has Netflix and Amazon Prime. A BBQ grill is included for your use at the open terrace. Great for family vacation.

Beautiful Wyndham Rio Mar Stay

The stay at cluster 2 villas within the Wyndham Rio Mar golf and beach resort was fantastic. The property is well taken care of and full of beautiful scenery. Rafael’s villa is perfect for a family with plenty of room to spread out. It’s nice that the villa has a washer/dryer. You are able to eat at the restaurants within the Wyndham which has a delightful selection. My wife and I enjoyed the restaurant above the club house called Iguanas. Our family enjoyed the pool located in cluster 2 villas area, though the other pools are off limits for guests of the villas. Overall we absolutely enjoyed our stay in Puerto Rico and would specifically return to this resort in the future.

Perfect property, perfect location

We loved our stay at Villa Carpe Diem. Our group comprised two families with four adults and four school aged kids. We had plenty of space and the layout of the condo was perfect. The resort amenities could not be better, we loved the easy access to the beach which was clean and has chairs available and the pool next to the beach was great as was the pool near the condo. The condo was well stocked with beach chairs, a cooler, beach towels, etc. Rafael was super helpful and communicative- he even sent a heads up warning with an alert for big waves one day. Overall, I highly recommend this condo!

Great Villa

The Villa had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. Their was lots of natural light and a nice breeze on the porch. The location was great to get to the beach and the pool. My kids loved the pool at the villa and down by the beach. Over all we had a great stay.
