Cozy apartment (62square metres) in Ostia near to the airport of Fiumicino, just 20 minutes from the "heart"of Rome " and a few steps from the beaches .
"Loretta's place" is a welcoming private apartment recently renovated, located in the seaside district of Ostia Lido. The apartment accommodates 4 people and is suitable for both long and short stays.The house is on the 4th floor and it's very sunny, functional and quiet, equipped with every comfort with 2 bedrooms for 4 people, living room, bathroom with shower, a fully equiped kitchen with gas cooker, oven, fridge and microwave. The house is in an ideal location: 7 km from the airport of Fiumicino, just 300 meters from the sea and it is well connected to Rome by train from Lido Centro station or from Lido Nord station. The new FAIR OF ROME, venue of exhibitions and conferences (NUOVA FIERA DI ROMA) is just 20 minutes from the apartment. The beautiful Palazzetto PalaPellicone (Pala FIJLKAM) created specifically for meetings and fighting events, is located 5 minutes by car from the apartment. On demand guest have at their disposal a baby cot (up to 2/3 years)a high chair and a baby stroller. Large condominium garden . Rates are inclusive of consumption. FREE UNLIMITED WIFI. Loretta was amazingly helpful and met us from the airport bus to Ostia. We loved the flat, it was in a quiet neighbourhood with a supermarket across the road, the beach nearby and the train station to Rome and Ostia a 15 minute walk away. The flat was well equiped and it was just what we needed.

Well kept 2 bedroom apartment with a supermarket opposite and a bus stop around the corner.

The apartment is well equipped and comfortable with added touches by Loretta of fresh fruit and flowers. Loretta was a great host explaining how to use everything and how to get about locally and I to Rome's centre.If not driving a weekly all in bus train and metro ticket is well worth the 24 euros. We had a great time exploring.

Charming , we felt very much at home.

The owner Loretta is an absolute darling. She collected us from the airport and returned us . She explains about the area and even booked us a table at a restaurant that she recommended. True to her words it was delightful. Nothing is too much trouble . She is full of enthusiasm which is reflected in the apartment . 5 minutes walk from the beach, near the shops, yet quiet and peaceful. We felt like one of the locals and the apartment felt safe and like home. We will re visit for sure. Andrew and Kathryn Puddu

Clean,spacious, nicely-furnished

The property was clean, spacious and nicely furnished. It was ideally located being close to beach, shops and transport. We were able to balance our family holiday with sightseeing in Rome to relaxing on the beach. It was easy to get to Rome using the buses and metro and took about 25 minutes. The local trattoria was family - run and served good traditional food in a welcoming atmosphere. I thought the property was good value for money and although it was hot at night the owner had provided fans in every room. We often took a stroll along the promenade at night - it was nice to see so many families out and about enjoying the cool evening breeze. The owner, Loretta was charming, helpful and accommodating. She immediately made us feel welcome and gave us plenty of advice as to making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would recommend this property to friends and we wish Loretta well and every success!

pleasant and functional appartment

Greeted by Loretta even though our flight was delayed making it quite late. The appartment was clean and comfortable and supplied with fresh fruit and bottled water. We felt that Loretta went out of her way to ensure our comfort, a mobile for our use and plenty of fresh towels. Location has everything close to hand, beach and resturants just a short walk away. we will definitely return and would recommend to friends.

What makes this property unique

Apartment very bright, silent, calm and sunny and the 4th and last floor with elevator. The apartment is surrounded by a common tidy garden fenced off.The sea is just a few hundred meters walk.For lovers of nature walks in a few minutes you find a beautiful old pine trees. The wonderful archaeological site of Ostia Antica is a metro stop.We organize, on request, guided tour of Rome in Italian English and french accompanied by a very good tour guide authorized by the city of Rome .The property is extremely well cared for and inhabited by very quiet and respectful. The garden is very nice, shady and cool, perfect place to cool off after a long day of sightseeing or sea.
