About this property

This cottage is located in a rural setting in the heart of the Normandy countryside, at the edge of the forest, 5 minutes from the town of Pont Audemer, less than an hour's drive from Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville, from Rouen, Caen, and Le Havre. Half-timbered and thatched, it is on the same land (2 hectares) as the owners. It retains its authentic Norman charm, but offers modern facilities. The house can accommodate 6 people. On the ground floor there is a separate, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room with a large fireplace. A double bedroom and bathroom / WC complete the ground floor. Upstairs a large landing leads to two bedrooms, each with 2 single beds, and a second bathroom with bath and WC. A large garden with terrace and private parking.

An idyllic cottage

We had a wonderful week at this traditional Norman cottage which was full of antiques and vintage crockery and glassware. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could possibly want. The gardens and lawns were beautiful and we spent most afternoons/evenings enjoying the view, the wildlife and the sunshine! Sue was a charming host who left us to get on with things but was always available for any queries. We are now back in a windy and rainy UK. What a contrast!

Beautiful property, lovely couple, owners, who live next door. A nice base to explore from.Not far from Honfleur, or the D-Day beaches. A very enjoyable expeience

Wonderful!

Fantastic, beautiful place. Cosy and quiet. The cottage is very well equipped, nothing is lacking. And Sue, the host, is such a nice person, open and helpful. We are enchanted by this place and thinking about coming back. Thank you, Sue!
