If you want to disconnect from the world and wish to have a real rest in the South of Tenerife, this is the appropriate holiday home. The privileged views over the sea and the whispering of the waves makes sitting on the terrace a relaxing experience. In addition, being a small fishing , non-tourist town, guarantees silence and rest. The beach is much protected, which makes possible to swim all year round. The simple fresh fish restaurants -accompanied by delicious local wines - are just a few meters walk. El Poris is located halfway between the capital, Santa Cruz, and the tourist area of the South. Recommended Restaurants: "Café al Mar " (Porís) , "Agua y Sal" and "Rocas" (Tajao), "Casa Tito" (Chimiche).

First line to the sea, just 20 meters. Quiet fishing Village ideal to enjoy the proximity to the sea. Close to the known beach of El Poris and it’s an excellent place to enjoy the meals on the typical restaurants of the area (fresh fish, homemade food, etc). The next supermarket is about 290 meters. Local recommended restaurants: Café al Mar, Bar Restaurante Montes de Oca. There is an utility room with Washing machine, iron and board. the apartments are known as Alegro at El Poris at Tenerife South

Nice, clean and well equipped apartment without streetnoise.

Well situated south to the sea. Nice little village easy to reach by highway.

Noise in the morning from the neighbor´s shower bath. Very poor internet.

Neat, well-kept, practical

Staying so close to the Atlantic was a great experience. We have perhaps never been swimming so much - at least when waves permitted us to swim. Everything in the apartment was in excellent condition. We were lucky not to have close neighbours - the flats are very close. The only improvement we can think of is the wi-fi: the signal was unreliable and weak. The village was nice enough with good walks in two directions. One of the local shops was all right, the bar near-by friendly with good tapas - always crowded - but the few restaurants closed or not very inviting. So a car is not absolutely necesssary but good to have if you want to see more of the island and find some decent restaurants and shops.

Sehr netter Empfang bei der Ankunft. Die Wohnung ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und hat alle Annehmlichkeiten. Die kleine Anlage ist insgesamt sehr gepflegt. Das Umfeld war ruhig und man konnte die Tage entschleunigt geniesen. Ansontsten entsprach alles der Beschreibung im Expose. Wir können diesbezüglich keine Abstriche machen.

Unser nächster Urlaub ist bereits in Poris geplant.
