About Jolyon Potter

We are an older couple who have enjoyed holidays with our children in this lovely resort over many years. We are looking forward to spending more time in Campello with our grandchildren and periods during the winter months when the weather is mild and there is still plenty to do and see.

Why Jolyon Potter chose Alicante Area

We chose this property because of its proximity to Alicante airport with direct flights from the North-East of England. It has excellent transport links which means that after a life time of driving all over Europe for holidays we no longer need to worry about having a car. There is a Lidl supermarket within five minutes walk and a larger Mercadona within ten minutes walk. The beach is in front of the apartment and any number of bars and restaurants along the esplanade. Evenings are a real joy strolling along the beach front trying to decide which bar, or restaurant you will try next.

What makes this apartment unique

A few minutes stroll from the flat into the crystal clear waters of the Med. Need we say more. Oh, and plenty of activity for the children in the gated compound of the development in the summer months.

There is a100mb download fibre optic feed allowing for streaming speed internet, WiFi and a full UK channel TV package and some other EU channels.

Great apartment and ideal location

The spacious and fully equipped apartment is located on the seafront with easy access to all the local restaurants and shops.The sunrise views are spectacular. El Campello is a very pleasant resort which we felt was more "Spanish" than other resorts we have visited.

There is also a light railway which allows you to visit between Alicante to Denia without needing a car.Very useful as a easy way of exploring the area.

Good spacious apartment in great location

Stayed January 2017 but unfortunately we encountered the worst weather the region has had for many years. That could not be helped and will not detract from our review of the excellent accomodation we stayed in. The apartment is situated in an excellent location overlooking the beach of El Campello. The facilities in the apartment are first class, from the kiutchen appliances through to the TV with English speaking channels. Although there were just 2 of us staying for the week the apartment can easily accomodate 6 people. Apart from the expected cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle etc there was a washing mashine, iron and ironing board, which are not always available in some aprtments. Also important for the ladies was a portable hair dryer which as my wife informs we was very good with plenty of power. The apartment if fully equipped and included, bin bags, washing up liquid, wash cloth, tea towels etc virtually everything you would require for a holiday apartment. Therer were even beach chairs and towels and children's beach toys, if needed. Due to the time of the year we did not experience the pool and outdoor facilities, but clearly the complex is well maintained. The apartment is also close by to several restaurants and bars as well as supermarkets which are within walking distance. The area being mainly for the Spanish, the prices in the shops, restaurants and bars make this a relatively cheap area to eat and drink out. Again due to the time of the year many restaurants were closed. Weather apart we enjoyed our stay and might have to consider a return trip when it is a little busier and the weather is not so bad.

Great Apartment

My two sons and I spent 3 nights there and everything was perfect. We had a great few days away. Only 1 thing though was that the second and third bedrooms could have done with a duvet as the evenings were quite cold.

Everything & more

Just returned back to freezing old Blighty after spending the last 4/5 days in this apartment & all I can say is it ticks every box. Everything that is in the description is the truth. Just 2/3 mins walk along the beach front takes you to an amazing variety of bars & restaurants. The apartment complex is extremely well looked after & very clean. Although we never took advantage of the huge pool, tennis court or 5 a-side football pitch, we did spend about 5 hours in the winter sunshine playing our own version of the Ryder Cup on the crazy golf course with clubs & balls we found in the apartment,alongside boogie boards, beach balls, frisbees, beach games & much more too keep anyone occupied. The main bedroom was perfect with astounding views to wake up to every morning of the sea & the sun just rising. The balcony was another bonus,as if it got too chilly there was sliding windows to close & keep the cold out. Everything you require to cook or order in is supplied with loads of local menus to be found in the living room. The Restaurant Asia Li just across the road was our favourite. This apartment has everything anyone needs & the added bonus for anyone who doesn't fancy going out every night is the amazing amount of sports channels & movie channels to be found on the huge television in the living room. As an afterthought the WiFi signal is perfect in every room in the apartment. Hope to be back soon.

Quiet area, bit very near all you need Restaurants, food for breakfast...

Very clean swimmingpool and not to many people.

We miss some kitchen equipment.
