Private deck in the front with wonderful bay views and patio in the rear for entertaining overlooking a spacious backyard. Two carpeted bedrooms and a full bath downstairs with laundry. The second floor has hardwood floors, a half bath and sliders to deck off the large living/kitchen/dining room. Vaulted ceilings with skylights, exposed beams and a sleeping loft over the kitchen. This 'upside down' design offers great views.

Fabulous Place for a P-town Vacation

This condo is awesome. The upstairs living area is open and airy with wonderful, comfortable furniture and a slider to the deck that looks out to Commercial street and the bay beach. Both the kitchen and living rooms are well appointed with everything you could possibly need. The two bedrooms downstairs are comfortable, although one is on the street and therefore could be a little louder. However, the condo is way down on the far west end and there really isn't much foot traffic at night so it is not much of an issue. The loft, above the kitchen, essentially adds a 3rd bedroom option. It is also a fun place to nap or read a book. The outdoor shower is a real plus. It is spacious and fully enclosed, and essentially makes it so there are two functioning showers. It also keeps the sand and salt from the beach from being dragged into the house! This condo is in a great location, with the private Delft Haven bay beach across the street which you have access to. This beach is clearly the nicest Bay Beach in all of P-town. There is also access to the Provincetown Inn outdoor pool, and it is much fun to go back and forth between the Bay and the pool. The condo comes with beach chairs and beach towels for the beach. It also comes with two parking places - totally rare in P-town! Although we didn't have a car - you don't need one! We rented bikes for the week and either biked or walked everywhere. Herring Cove Beach is only a 5-minute bike ride away. Race Point Beach allows for a nice bike ride on the trails. The only disappointment we had was we ran out of propane during our first bbq. However, Michael the owner was very accomodating and offered to pay for the cost of refilling the propane, including the costs of a taxi to and from the store. We just used it, instead, as an excuse to eat out more often! Overall, we find the owner Michael to be very accomdating to do business with and would totally rent this place for our next visit!

Nice house with a great deck

The house has an unusual layout with the bedrooms downstairs and the main living area upstairs but this works out nicely because the living room, which is very large and airy, opens onto a deck that overlooks the street. It's a great place to hang out and watch people walk by since you're above the street and set back a little. There is also a patio at ground level in back, with stairs leading down from the kitchen, that has a very nice gas grill (appeared to be new) and an outdoor shower inside a private enclosure. There is a sleeping loft over the kitchen area. There is a dishwasher and washer/dryer, flat screen TV in the living room and both bedrooms, AC in both bedrooms, good wifi, and parking for 1 or 2 cars. The furniture was stylish and in good condition. There is an entrance to the harbor side beach practically across the street and you can see the harbor from the deck. Herring Cove beach is also walkable because the house is all the way at the west end of Commercial Street. The only downside to this house is the location if you are going to be walking frequently to the town center. It's about a 20 minute walk, longer if you're a slow walker. However, it's only 5 minutes by bike or cab. It's also a long way to any type of grocery or convenience store, although if you have a car this isn't a problem because you can easily get to and from the main supermarket without having to go through the town center (don't try and drive down Commercial Street in the town center in the summer if you don't have to!). Aside from that, everybody in our group loved this house. It's my favorite house that I've stayed at in Ptown and I plan to book it again if it's available, next time I go up there.

Wonderful introduction to P-town

This was the perfect spot for our first visit to Provincetown and we highly recommend it. The beautiful, relatively quiet location is within walking distance of downtown, and there is a nice street and water view from the balcony. The accomodations are lovely and comfortable with lots of interesting art on the walls. Michael is a great host, always available for questions and very accomodating. We loved the house and wonderful Provincetown (especially the Pilgrim Tower and the Art Museum), and are hoping to return soon. (Hint: be sure to see the half-scale model of the schooner Rose Dorothea upstairs at the public library.)

Fantastic Property

This will be our sixth summer in P-Town and our sixth year staying at Michael’s property, as it is the best place in town! It is in the perfect location on Commercial Street down in the west end of town. The house is across the street from the Cape, and just a “30” minute hike to Herring Cove. With the bedrooms down below and the living / kitchen area up above it makes for great viewing of the water, and people watching off Commercial Street. It’s an easy walk into town yet far enough away from center of everything so you don’t hear all of the noise, and it’s a quick PediCab ride home.

The place is clean, the bedrooms are spacious, and the kitchen has everything you need. The outdoor shower comes in handy when coming back from the beach, and the backyard BBQ grill is perfect for that summer cookout with friends.

I highly recommend this property, and look forward to many more summers in P-Town. Thanks Michael for all of the memories!

Terrific!

The location and unit's upside down layout are fantastic. This West End location affords quiet and views of the harbor and is a short walk to the restaurants and shops or bike ride to the beach. The posted pictures and rental description are spot-on. The owner is very friendly and responsive, I would highly recommend this property.
