Romantic, family villa with 2 double bedrooms and private, secluded pool

This sunny, private villa is situated in a quiet, mature, residential area in the heart of Malaga province. Boasting its own unshared private, secluded pool, sun terraces and gardens, the villa is ideal for a family summer holiday and equally ideal for a romantic get-away. It has a large balcony giving panoramic views of the mountains and sea and is just a 10 minutes walk to the beach. With views of the sea from the balcony you can have a romantic meal on the terrace while the family can sit and relax around the sunny, secluded, private pool area. Being just a stroll away from the local railway station, it is ideally positioned to explore both the Costa and 'real' Spain.

Location: Located just 25 minutes from Malaga Airport, the villa is situated in a quiet, mature complex that stretches from the beach back into the hills.

The views from the villa are magnificent. In one direction you can look up into the hills and the while-walled village of Benalmadena Pueblo. In the other, the blue seas of the Mediterranean stretch out in front of you.

With just a 5 minute walk to the local railway station and a 10 minute walk down the the beach, it is difficult to imagine anywhere more ideally positioned.

The Villa: The large terraces and the private swimming pool are the first things that greet our guests. Open the front door and you look into the spacious lounge with marble floors and high ceilings complete with huge picture window and large balcony looking down to the sea. The main room is equipped with air-conditioning which also provides heat in the winter. Downstairs are the two double bedrooms each equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fan and external blinds which keep them cool for those hot summer evenings.

With gardens walled to give total privacy, visitors can relax in tranquil surroundings while access to the local tennis club with floodlit courts, large swimming pool and world class golf courses are only minutes away.

The Urbanisation: At the entrance to the urbanisation there are several beach bars and restaurants. There is a mini-market, a cafe, a bar as well as real-estate offices in front of the newly opened International English School. Just through the under pass are beaches, more bars and restaurants as well as the local hotel which has entertainment most evenings.

Further back in the complex is the local railway station servicing the coast from Malaga via the airport through to Fuengirola - it is even possible to take a series of trains all the way from London to the urbanisation - one of our clients did! Besides the station there is a small road that travels up into the hills to the village of Benalmadena Pueblo which offers stupendous views over the coastal plain as well as a small restaurant on nearly every corner.

I fell in love with this villa the very first time I travelled to mainland Spain back in the early 80s and have been living there off and on ever since.

What makes this villa unique

The main selling points to me were the wonderful views of the sea and mountains, the tranquil setting and the proximity to the station making the villa secluded enough from the hustle and bustle of the local tourist spots yet near enough to take advantage of them whenever I wish.

The villa is ideal for those without a car. The owner is very accommodating and communicative (as is the property manageress).

Our perfect family holiday - a real find.

This area of Spain is so beautiful and the setting of the villa is perfect. It is extremely private around the pool and on the terrace and brilliant for those of you with children who enjoy jumping in and out all day while you read, relax and sunbathe. The villa is well equipped, spacious and has an extremely large balcony with lovely views down towards the sea - perfect for lunch. Just around the corner is the train station which provides a cheap and reliable service up and down the coast from Malaga to Fuengirola. If you don't feel like venturing too far from the villa, Torremuelle has some very good restaurants and a small supermarket. I would gladly recommend this property to friends as long as they didn't want to go when we do!!! We have ensured that we get the weeks we want next year and rebooked which I think sums up what we felt was our perfect family holiday.

December in sunny Torremuelle

I have to agree with the other positive reviews of Clive's villa on this site. It's in a good location, very handy for the train station but also easy enough to stroll down the hill to the small town where there's a couple of decent bar/cafe's, shop and a really nice beach. The villa itself is as described, in a quiet residential area, well equipped and with nice views both out to sea and back to the hills. It doesn't get much sun in the winter so remains quite cold (it was December after all!) but thankfully it has good heating with what looks like new air con/heating units in the sitting room and the 2 bedrooms. We didn't use the pool area or the outdoor space due to the time of year but it all looks very useable and probably makes for a very different holiday experience April to October. The villa was clean, beds were comfy, TV was a little temperamental but easy enough to get the UK channels. We paid for one week's WiFi/Internet and the set up process as described by Clive was very straightforward. Communication (and written instructions) with Clive throughout was first class and the welcome pack is really helpful just to have a quick drink or a bite to eat after a day's traveling before getting to the shops.

We know the area well and as others have said the train service either into Benelmadena or Los Boliches remains cheap, regular and efficient (and only a few mins travel time). Overall, very happy to recommend the villa.

Peaceful and serene

Property was easy to find we used the train to & from the airport, Beautiful location exactly as stated. Walking distance to beach & train station felt like a home from home. We loved having the station near by & used it every day then got to return to the peaceful & serene surroundings of this Property. We were able to access many days out, Cable car to see the bird show, sea world. Crocodile park & many evenings out meals & Bars, Locals were very friendly, The property was clean and provide for all our needs the pool was just heaven to get in after a long day of sight seeing, We would Highly recommend this villa and look forward to returning & The owner Clive was very helpful.

Lovely villa in a peaceful and scenic location, close to train and beach

We wanted to stay further away from busy tourist centres on Costa Del Sol, the location of this villa was perfect for us! Train station was easily accessable and we did daytrips to Malaga, Fuengirola and Benalmádena by train, also these trips were good for larger supermarket shopping. Closeby are few small restaurants and a small supermarket for essentials. View from the balcony was stunning, we got up early every morning to watch the sunrise. As it is autumn the pool water was bit cool but still ok to dip in, lovely private area.

Villa had everything we needed for one week, we paid for the Wi-Fi for €25 per week, not the fastest but sufficient for mobile use. There were few welcome products in the fridge on arrival, these were much appreciated arriving in the evening. Walks to the village and station have some hill sections, these however not too steep for average walkers. This villa is perfect for persons who like more quiet village life with the possibility of easy travel to larger towns. Would be very happy to come back and stay here again!

Lovely villa

This is our second visit to the villa. It is a real home from home. Had everything we could need. Very clean and spacious. Beautiful view from the very large balcony over to the sea at one end and the hills at the other. The front area is fantastic, with table, chairs, loungers and of the course , the pool. The area is quiet and residential, within walking distance of the beach . There is also a fantastic train service , which we used every day, running 'til after midnight. I love this villa and will definitely return.

Torremuelle is a quiet residential area situated on the coast midway between Torremolinos and Fuengirola. It is just 20 minutes from Malaga Airport. Torremuelle has its own railway station on the line from Malaga via the airport to Fuengirola. In fact the proximity of the railway station and the local bus services has meant that the majority of our clients do not hire a car.

Within the area there is a small supermarket, several cafes, bars and restuarants.

Golf: With an excellent 18-hole course at Torrequebrada (tel: +34 95 2442742) only 5 minutes away, and a choice of 30 other courses within one hour's drive you are ideally situated to make the most of your golfing holiday. The year round sun and easy day trips to such famous places as Granada, Gibraltar, Seville, Ronda and Cordoba make this area perfect for your holiday, golfing or not.
