Exceptional apartment with a great view.

Extremely comfortable with all amenities, good parking. Fantastic views from the huge terrace. A real joy for a holiday. Managing agent very helpful.

Perfection

The apartment was excellent. Excellent location with bus service. Excellent facilities, particularly the fully-equipped kitchen. Excellent bathrooms. Excellent storage. Excellent views. Manager was friendly and answered all our questions. We also met the owner who was very friendly. Thinking of going back in the summer.

Perfect appartement, amazing view on the mountains

We have rent this appartement for the third time. It is spacious, clean, all we needed during our stay was available, well located (a two minutes walk from the skibusstop, a 10-15 minutes walk to the center of Grindelwald), amazing views on the Wetterhorn, Eiger, Mannlichen), the letter DIarmuid gives you good service and is always available if needed. I recommend this appartment to you (exept for two weeks at the end December/beginning January because I hope to stay there again).

WUNDERVOLLE WEIHNACHTSTAGE IN GRINDELWALD

...verbrachten wir in dieser Ferienwohnung. Wir reisten mit zwei kleinen Kindern und vier Erwachsenen. Die Wohnung ist außerordentlich großzügig, so dass sie für unseren Aufenthalt perfekt war. Das große Schlafzimmer mit angrenzendem Bad bietet einen wunderschönen Bergblick. Eines der kleineren Schlafzimmer bietet einen seitlichen Blick auf die Berge. Das dritte Schlafzimmer hat leider keinen Ausblick (Blick auf den Weg, der zu den oberen Wohnungen führt), da sich die Fenster auf der rückwärtigen Seite des Hauses befinden. Das Zimmer ist deshalb auch tagsüber dunkler, was uns allerdings aufgrund des täglichen Mittagsschlafes der Kinder entgegenkam. Alle Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und gemütlich ausgestattet. Die Ausstattung ist zudem sehr hochwertig. Die Matratzen waren sehr gut, die Türen schlossen leise und dicht, die Wohnung ist nicht hellhörig, alle Möbel befanden sich in einem sehr guten Zustand. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über große Einbauschränke mit vielen Ablageflächen. Wir reisten mit Weihnachtsbaum und Fondue-Set an, was jedoch nicht erforderlich war. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich vorstellen kann. Wenn man will, kann man auch mit Gas kochen. Darüber hinaus ist eine gesonderte Gasflamme vorhanden, wenn man mit einem Wok kochen möchte. Auch Geschirr und Besteck sowie Gläser sind in großer Anzahl vorhanden. Ein aufklappbarer Weihnachtsbaum sowie ein Hochstuhl für Kinder waren auch vorhanden. Von der Terrasse und dem Wohnzimmer hatten wir einen traumhaften Blick auf die Eigernordwand und aufs Dorf, da sich die Wohnung etwas oberhalb von Grindelwald befindet. Auch vom Küchenfenster aus kann man die Berge sehen. Mit der Gästekarte kann man den Bus gratis nutzen, so dass ein Auto nicht unbedingt erforderlich ist. Zu Fuß beträgt der Weg ca. 15 Minuten. Wir benutzten jedoch nur PKW und Bus. Die Bilder geben genau den Zustand wieder, den Sie vorfinden. Im Keller der Wohnung befinden sich Waschmaschine und Trockner, die man gratis nutzen kann. Wir können die Wohnung ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen und würden sicherlich jedes Jahr wiederkommen, wenn der Mietpreis etwas günstiger wäre.

I am a qualified rafting and canyoning guide and worked mostly in rope access before setting up our business providing quality holiday homes to our international visitors.
About Kashi: My passport is Belgian and although I was born there, I have spent most of my life abroad. My parents instilled me with an unquenchable lust for travel and adventure. Since growing up in Nepal, I have lived and worked in the outdoors in Spain, Mexico, Nepal, Italy and Austria but decided to settle in this beautiful area. The last six years I have been employed as a photographer, hiking and snowshoeing guide, ski instructor, tour guide and event planner. Currently I am mostly a mom, the toughest and most rewarding job ever!
About Keanu: Born in Interlaken in 2008, I am a Swiss-born Belgian Paddy. I share my parents' love for water and I really like the Octonauts, diggers and my wolf Igor. I go crazy for cheddar cheese, and love to talk on skype.
