The property had large rooms and was in an ideal location for our first trip to Ireland. Lovely views of the beech from the front of the cottage. Joe was helpful and gave us some ideas of what to see localy.

Great place to stay
The house was well laid out, clean and superbly resourced, even down to the Nespresso coffee maker! As we have 5.0mbps at home you can guess how delighted we were to find that the WiFi was super fast at 53mbps! The view of the sea was a real must for us and we were delighted to be able to see it from the main living area downstairs and the upstairs area with picture windows on a full wall. The owners Joe and Noreen were there to welcome us with a warm friendly chat and had left us smoked salmon and an apple tart as welcome gifts. This hospitality was evident in communication with Joe prior to our stay. Everything was made easy for us and we had a super relaxing time in the cottage, with stunning views and great walks on the beach and around the Burren. For us it was sheet bliss!

Excellent property
This house is in the perfect location for Fanore beach and driving around the area. The beach is a 5 minute walk or 1 minute drive, and lovely to hang around. The house is well equipped and very comfortable, with great views. Joe is an excellent host who responded immediately when we had a query. We had a great holiday and would love to return again.

Just perfect!
Craggy Cottage is a beautiful pearl set in the equally lovely Fanore in the incredible Burren of the Wild Atlantic Way. We had yet again another fantastic break there with our family. Joe and Noreen make sure that everything you could wish for is in the cottage and are so welcoming. There is always a well-stocked store cupboard to start you off and a welcome pack of a little delicious something. Everything is spotless and there were even some flowers to welcome us around the property. We have a little boy and two small doggies and the cottage and place just works for everyone and anyone.Upstairs there is a lovely sitting room which just oozes serenity. Craggy cottage has views to die for and a beautiful garden and terrace on which to watch the glorious (and they really are glorious) sunsets. Because we went in May/ June all the wild flowers and foliage were in abundance and just a joy. However we have visited in March and September and there is always some beauty to behold. The beach nearby is a surfers paradise but also wonderful if you just want to paddle with the little ones or while away the hours. Fanore itself is a jewel and the locals friendly and welcoming. This is real Ireland at its best. A great nearby store and post office and a fantastic pub serving delicious food if you don’t want to venture too far. We are absolutely smitten and anyone would be we are sure. It is a very special place. Thankyou Joe and Noreen . We will be back!
