About the property

Close to everything - 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms - private sauna.

In the heart of CHAMONIX next to the Aiguille du Midi lift station. A beautiful ground floor apartment in a peaceful cul de sac.

There are 2 large bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the sitting room. One bedroom has an en suite shower room. Bedrooms can be double or two single beds so suitable for friends or family. The other bedroom has a separate shower room and toilet.

The kitchen/dining room has a hob, combination overn and microwave & fridge. The basement sitting room is bright with natural light from a window. It has a 48-inch plasma TV showing UK Freeview channels & an Xbox plus an assortment of games & DVDs. The apartment also has its own sauna. There is free wi-fi. There is a bluetooth speaker. We provide a universal power socket so that you can plug in your own devices. A small safe is available to protect your valuables.

There is off-street parking which is barrier protected (we’ll provide you with a remote). The apartment is in the centre of Chamonix just a minute’s walk from the nearest Michelin-starred restaurant and four minute’s walk from the bustling high street.

We want you to feel at home so we provide a welcome pack including wine, tea, coffee, juice and milk amongst other things. We provide Molton Brown toiletries, good quality bedding and towels by The White Company, Designer’s Guild or the like.

A well-behaved dog may be accepted with prior agreement.

There is a Ski Set shop next door for ski or board hire.

Great Apartment, fantastic location

Andy and Gill's apartment was perfect for our family's skiing week. The location in the centre of Chamonix, close to the Aguille de Midi lift is hard to beat, and the apartment is very well fitted out and equiped - with the sauna being a real bonus after a day's skiing. Andy and Gill are great hosts, very welcoming and keen to make sure that we had everything we needed. I'm sure that we will be back!

Excellent location & highly recommended

Very comfortable and clean place.

Perfectly located for everything needed in Chamonix.The bus stop for access to all the slopes is only 150 meters away and ski rental is on the doorstep.One of the main cable cars is also just 100 mt away,and the main high street is within a 3 minute walk.

Andy was very helpful and everything was exactly as described.

Would definitely book again.

Nice apartment, nice little touches

A great location in Chamonix, short walk to town centre, lifts (Aguille de Midi at least) and with a car space too (great for the 30min drive through the tunnel to Courmeyeur).

Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, and nice communal areas. Perfect for 4 adults.

Andy and Gill are excellent hosts with an eye for the little touches which make a real difference. They are also responsive to any questions or requests for assistance.

Amazing property in the heart of Chamonix!

Our stay at Gill and Andy's chalet in the heart of Chamonix surpassed all expectations. The property was more than big enough for six of us and the facilities were excellent. The property is decorated like a typical mountain chalet and has all the mod cons you could ever need for a trip. We cooked dinner in a few nights and the sauna was a very welcome added bonus after long days of skiing.

Location wise the property is just outside the hustle and bustle of Chamonix so brings a welcome calm and quietness in the evenings. It is located a few minutes walk from the nearest bus stop for easy access to all the gondolas of the local ski areas and right next to the Aguille Du Midi gondola. Bars and restaurants are all within short walking distance.

Gill and Andy were both very welcoming hosts. Communication prior to and during the trip was excellent and the welcome basket, as well as the additional bottle of red wine later in the trip, was a very nice touch.

A must stay for anyone visiting Chamonix!

Very traditional and high quality apartment, perfectly situated

We had a great stay. This was our second visit to Chamonix (previous 18 years ago) and Chamonix really is a lovely place. The apartment is right next to the Aigulle du Midi cable car and is perfectly situated for the town centre, yet despite this is extremely peaceful. There is good off the road parking. Inside the apartment is very comfortable and has really nice features and is equipped to an extremely high standard. There is English speaking TV if you wish. Gill and Andy were very helpful throughout from the time of booking and right up-to prompt refund of the deposit. Highly recommended!

perfect for a stay in Chamonix

Gill & Andy made us feel very welcome. The apartment was perfect for a a very comfortable and stylist stay near to all the amenities Chamonix has to offer. The beds were extremely comfortable. We would definitely go again.
