Needs more maintenance - location needs to be amended to be correct as it is NOT in the town.

We had a great holiday despite a few issues. The house is wonderful; beds comfy and most things you need are there - just do not expect everything VRBO says is there to be there!! Neighbours all seem to have dogs that bark rather a lot. The house is also well out of town (inland) so walking to bars/restaurants/shops is not an option for anyone of anything other than the very fit. Description says a "stone's throw from beach" - not even an olympian could throw a stone a mile!!! Hot tub not working .. repairer came on our last day. tbh, even if it had been officially working I am not sure that the maintenance of it leaves it clean enough for safe usage! Outdoor kitchen in an appalling mess and not working. The garden (potentially absolutely lovely with a little maintenance) was not only overgrown with a lot of spiky plants, but also looked as if the fallen leaves and blossom had not been cleared for weeks - patio and flower beds covered! As we really wanted to use it I cleared most of the leaves and pruned loads of the plants to enable safe use. ... It was then lovely!! :-) My conclusion is - be honest about the property and do a bit more maintenance and there would be nothing to complain about. It was good value for money, and I felt quite "zen" after gardening for a day or so!! :-)

Great Location

This property is exactly as shown in the photos, maybe a little old fashioned but a sweet little house in a great location. The house has everything you could need and plenty of room for a family. The kitchen in the garden and roof terrace are a great addition. Carla was very helpful. We struggled to find the property as the map on the listing takes you no where near but she drove to find us and was an absolute delight. The location is great, with some lovely beaches nearby. We did struggle to get the check in details from the owner before our holiday. We also had a quite serious issue with the hot tub which meant we could not use it. It would’ve been nice to have an apology about this from the owner. Overall a great little place, could do with some safety checks. Also Carla the local who checks you in was so lovely, she is the reason we didn’t give a lower score.

Verbesserungswürdig ist die Wegbeschreibung. Nach langer Kommunikation mit Patrick, ist es uns über Google gelungen, rauszufinden, wo genau sich das Haus befindet. Eine Mitarbeiterin, Clara, kümmert sich um das süße Haus, mit herrlichem Garten. Im Gegensatz zu Meinungen vorher, kann ich nicht sagen, dass es dreckig war. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Bis zum Meer / Promenade, dauert es allerdings etwas länger zu Fuß, ca. eine halbe Stunde... Alles in Allem: Daumen hoch :-)

Very bad experience

The house itself was okay, the garden was amazing. That was the only positive about it. But the beds were hard as a rock, you could not sleep comfortable. The shower was horrible, you can only get boiling hot water or cold. Nothing in between. The sofa’s in the livingroom were sticky. The hot tub was very very dirty so we couldn’t use use. Very grose. No contact with the man who rented us the place was possible. Never rent this!!
