Great location but disorganised dwelling
There's a nice big terrace and the shops/food below are all good. And of course, the lake is staggeringly beautiful. Although I chose this gite for convenience and location (just me and my husband) I have some comments. Firstly they advertise that there is wifi. There is no wifi here. Zero wifi. The Tabac said to use theirs but there's no signal to connect to. Also, we had to deal with wires and lamps that don't reach plugs. Very annoying. Thankfully I brought my own bed linen because we couldn't find any there. A note might have been helpful to explain recycling/rubbish. Instead on day four of seven nights we got a text while on the lake saying to check out by next morning and clean or pay 50 euros. In the months prior I tried to get any information about the other bedrooms - as it sleeps six. That was never explained; I sent emails and texts asking for photos or info. The drawers were all stuffed with junk and all the kitchen things are together with old plastic forks. We only saw towels on the final day in the ceiling storage compartment. We tried to find the exact parking information but only found out after arrival. The parking is different for certain days. Why not give this information to your guests? It wouldn't cost you anything to give useful free information. There was no one at check-out to meet or speak to. We left the key with the restaurant below.
