Fantastically brilliant 3 generation weekend away

  • 5 of 5

Fantastically brilliant three generation weekend away. Massive tardis like house, well furnished and very clean. Ground floor comprises a pool room with sofa, to and games consol, double bedroom, wet room and utility. Upstairs there is a stunning living room with kitchen off, comfy sofas, large dining table and spectacular views. Kitchen is well equipped with suitable sized pots and pans to cater for large numbers. Also on this floor a family bathroom and a double bedroom. Upstairs there is a massive double room with huge ensuite bath an shower room all with stunning beach views. There is also a large family bathroom and two further bedrooms. Beds have good quality mattresses and cosy bedding.

We were blessed with bright sunny winter weather and enjoyed walks around the area and along the beach, down to the Oyster Catcher for coffee.

A fantastic place that we would love to return to, thank you Melanie

Words & Pictures can't do this lovely home justice

  • 5 of 5

The review before this sums up what a gem of a house this is.

The only things to add are that the whole house is beautifully yet practically furnished and the attention to detail leaves one lacking for nothing.

The kitchen is superbly equipped: the beds extremely comfortable: numerous bathrooms and plenty of hot water.

The enormous wet room means one really can keep the sand etc downstairs and the well equipped utility room a great bonus.

The location with views to die for and with access straight out onto the beach plus the private parking complete the picture.

We were a three generation family, ages ranging from 70 to 5 with Granny bringing her husband, children and grandchildren back to Anglesey where she spent her first 15 summer holidays.

Thank you Melanie, we've had such fun. Our only fear is that when any of us want to return, thanks to the great reviews you are justifiably getting, we may not be able to find a slot!!

Amazing property in a superb location!!!

  • 5 of 5

Well where do I start with this review!....

When we arrived in Rhosneigr and drove down towards the beach and onto the private road right in front of the house, we began to appreciate what an unbelievable beach front location this really is. It sunk in even more so as we entered the property and took in the main view out of the sitting room bay window...stunning is the only word that can describe the panoramic view that unfolds before your eyes as the kitesurfers, canoeists, speed boats and beach walkers all buzz about in the bay!

The property was perfect for us with a lovely big kitchen, a nice dining area and dining table, perfect for watching the sunset after dinner with a glass or two of your favourite vino!

The bedrooms are all huge doubles, all with bathrooms right next door and the master bedroom itself on the top floor has an amazing en-suite with jaccuzi bath and walk in shower facility!

The wet room situated on the ground floor is excellent for coming straight indoors from the beach and sea to enjoy a nice warm shower and there are actually three shower heads which allows you to rinse off wet suits etc at the same time.

The games room on the ground floor is also a bonus for bored kids on an evening who can either enjoy the pool/snooker table or have a blast on the games console.

The area itself is a fantastic location to explore the West and North West coasts of Anglesey, as well as Rhosneigr beach, you have Broad Beach just down the road and one of our favourite beaches, Cable Bay, another five minutes down the road. We also enjoyed Llandwyn Beach and an exploration around Llandwyn Island is an absolute must, being only a 20 minute drive South through the wonderful Newborough Forest onto the beach front, with views of Snowdonia in the distance!

All in all we had an absolutely fantastic family holiday with great surroundings and a perfect base to discover the island of Anglesey!

We booked the house for a christmas break by the sea and was not disappointed, the house is amazing, and the location is perfect. the photos on the website do not do the place justice it is huge, even with 10 people staying there is more than enough room, the wet room downstairs is a real gem after a long walk on the beach, the kitchen is well stacked with everything you need, the bathrooms are huge and very clean. the bedrooms are fantastic and beds are very comfortable, we had the perfect christmas in the perfect place.
