The villa offers a pleasant modern interior decor in 2 Bedrooms with a freshly renovated en-suite Bathroom, 1 “twin” bedroom with a new bathroom next door, an independent small flat for two people (Additional cost), Air-conditioning throughout, Floor heating in main living areas, Sat TV & surround music system in the living room, WIFI, all washing and cooking facilities, comfortable new beds. Private parking, private heated pool/Hydromassage area, outside kitchen and dining court yard, a second BBQ in the pool area, sun lounging overlooking Monte Pego/Oliva and the Mediterranean Sea, cushioned garden furniture, large mature garden with a Bocce game field.

Casa Barranco has been designed to cater for everyone to allow a relaxing and comfortable holiday. It is situated at the end of a road with only one neighbour, borders with the National Reserve Park of Pego, therefore guarantees full privacy comfort and ultra clean environment.

Exterior features: The villa has iron electric sliding gates to make the property secure. Additionally there are small gates separating various sections of the garden, terraces and pools to ensure safety of children. A sheltered parking suitable for 2 and additional there is space for 2 more cars. The villa has a large garden surrounding the property filled with Mediterranean shrubs, flowers, olive, orange and lemon trees. An 8 m x 4 m heated swimming pool with connected Hydromassage area overlooking Monte Pego Mountain, rice fields, orange groves and the sea. Sun lounging area with outdoor shower, luxury outside seating furniture, sunbeds, BBQ with dining facilities “Al Fresco”. A breakfast terrace on the South (kitchen) side of the villa. External BBQ kitchen and dining courtyard at the front of the villa. “Bocce” game field (a set of Bocce balls in the house).

Interior features: On entering the property you will step into a small hallway with access to a large living room in front and a spiral tiled staircase leading up to a master bedroom on the right, Bedroom 1. Bedroom 1 has an en-suite bathroom, a full wall of recently installed modern wardrobes, a king size bed and a large balcony all a brand new 30m² addition to the villa. It offers unforgettable sunset views and total privacy at all time.

Ground floor - upon entering the living room from the hall you will find to your left a recently installed open plan, fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you may need – Hob, Oven, Dishwasher, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, 2 x Coffee Maker, Toaster, Kettle, Cutlery , Kitchen-ware and even a Spanish cookbook . The dining area will comfortably seat 6 - 8 people. From the kitchen you can assess two decks – one facing the South, perfect for morning coffee and watching the sunrise, and the second facing South West - the pool and Hydromassage area.

The spacious living room with a gas fire-place, is furnished with luxurious leather sofas, oriental coffee table, a soft carpet and flat screen TV with European free to view Sat-TV and DVD Player. You will also find some board games and DVDs there. A lovely space for socializing or family quality time. From there you will see an extension to a large glassed, closed in conservatory with a comfortable leather sofa and coffee table ideal for watching the sunset, cooling down after a hot summer day, afternoon nap or a quiet evening with a book.

To the right of the fire-place in the living room there is a small hall way which will take you to two fully furnished bedrooms (Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3) and two recently renovated bathrooms. Bedroom 2 has a king size bed with a full wall of fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets and en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower. Bedroom 3 has twin beds that can be pulled together to make a super king bed if needed, fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets. This bedroom has a bathroom next door with a bath tub.

Casa Barranco has a separate apartment (Bedroom 4) with independent entrance and a private terrace in front of it on the lower level of the garden. The apartment has a double bedroom, kitchenette (equipped with a couple of cabinets, a small fridge freezer, microwave and a kettle), bathroom with a walk in shower and a cosy library. The Communidad de Valencia has a fantastic tradition of fiestas throughout the year with amazing custom made parades, freshly made paellas, dressing up in hand made costumes, music and lots more. Each town have their own days for these celebrations, most of the information can be found at any Information Shop in each town.

4th-12th Jul – Main Fiestas in Honour of the Holy Blood. Programme comes out a week before the fiesta.

13th -16th Aug – Moors and Christians - The streets of Dénia are crowded with moors and christians in mid-august. Embassies, street bands, and the lifting of the flag, etc. A must see if you are in Denia

Ending of Aug to beginning of Sep – Fiestas in La Xara Village in honour of Saint Mathew - Procession, bulls in the street, open air dancing evenings, games, etc

9th-11th Oct – Jesús Pobre village - Celebration of end of the grape harvesting. Tasting typical “coques” pastries with muscatel grapes.

17th-22th Oct - Moors and Christians - Parade in Calpe

23rd Oct-2 Nov – Oktoberfest - Beer Festival

Late Oct–early Nov - All Saints Day - Attraction fair (big wheel, rides, etc.) at Torrecremada Park.

What to do in the surrounding areas?

A 10 – 15 min drive will take you to the miles long golden sand and calm water beaches, with small fish restaurants and bars alongside. Holiday makers, local families, kite and windsurfers are there all summer, but still the beaches are never too crowded.

Monte Pego is part of Pego Town, a very old small town in the Valencian region and the province of Alicante. Pego has a large market town lying within a fertile valley of orange groves. Pego’s long history dates back to Palaeolithic times and throughout its varied occupations including Romans, Muslims and Christians. There are remains of ancient settlements in the surrounding countryside and beautifully restored architecture within the town. The town itself is typical of the area, with its warren of narrow streets and pathways.

Denia – is the second closest town to Casa Monte Pego at just a 15-20 minute drive. Denia enjoys a privilege position right on the northern edge of the province of Alicante. It sits on the shores of the Mediterranean opposite the Balearic Islands and is backed by the impressive mountains of the Montgó Natural Park. Denia hosts many fiestas, but it is best known for the running of the bull’s fiesta which takes place during July and has been declared as being of National Tourist Interest.

Denia is a fantastic place to visit, where you'll easily be able to enjoy a day or two! There is the ruined castle which proudly guards the town and has stunning views out over the marina, the natural park of Montgó and the Torre del Gerro both of which have marked walking trails to enjoy. The prestigious marina with its wonderful elevated promenade, a 20 km coastline of both rocky and sandy beaches, the fish market, the old town and the impressive tree lined main shopping street as well as the museums.

Javea – is a small, historic town, free of high rise buildings offering a relaxing holiday atmosphere. The local people are friendly and affable. The clean, warm, blue Mediterranean Sea laps the beautiful beaches and coves that Javea has to offer.

With its variety of landscape, ranging from sandy coastlines to rugged mountain areas, its mild all year-round climate, its careful planning policies and extensive tourist facilities, Javea is a jewel on the Costa Blanca, combining beauty and modern facilities with the charm of an ancient fishing village.

The town is situated between the San Antonio and La Nao points and enjoys the impressive and magnificent protection of Mountain Montgó.

If that isn't enough you can take the tram south to Calpe, Altea, Benidorm or the city of Alicante, alternatively take the ferry to the Ibiza or Palma for an overnight stay!
