Villa Gardenia is situated in a peaceful and rural location surrounded by trees and Mediterranean plants but still within easy reach of all amenities. The villa has 5 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 of which are en suite and all feature hydro massage) so it comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. The villa has air conditioning (warm/cold) and central heating in all bedrooms and the living room and the interior is spacious, bright and modern. On the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen with centre island (5 hotplates), a large open plan living and dining area (42” Plasma SAT TV, DVD, Stereo, Wi-Fi with dining furniture for 10) and large glass doors leading out to the covered terrace with steps down to the pool and garden. There are another 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an impressive entrance hall and staircase to the first floor. Here you will find the master bedroom with dressing room and en suite bathroom, 2 more double bedrooms (1 with en suite bathroom), a laundry area with washing machine plus ample storage space for suitcases etc. and a large terrace overlooking the garden and pool. The private pool with sun loungers and umbrellas also has a separated children’s section and is surrounded by a well-maintained lawn and Mediterranean plants. There is also unlimited parking available, a natural well providing drinking water, a barbecue and a play area for children making this an ideal choice for families.

The nearest town is Manacor at 10 km, where there are shops, bars, restaurants, cinemas and tennis courts. More towards the coast, between 7 and 15 km from the house, we find the resorts of s'Illot, Sa Coma, Cala Millor, Cala Bona and Costa dels pins that also harbour beaches along the coast with lots of shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. And a little further north, we find Cala Ratjada, this is also a tourist spot with everything mentioned above, there are also nightclubs and very famous cocktail bars which are of the most visited by tourists in summer. At 3 km are the famous Caves of Drach and the beautiful Caves of Arta at only a few kilometres.

Just a short drive from the villa is Porto Cristo, a working fishing village on Majorca’s east coast. There’s an unhurried vibe here, with lazy days spent on the beach and relaxed evenings enjoying a plate of paella at the waterfront restaurants. Porto Cristo’s beach curves round a sheltered bay at the entrance to the harbour, with water that’s calm enough for easy swims and Pedalo rides. Sun loungers and umbrellas dot the sands, and there are plenty of cafés and restaurants on standby. The coastline here is sprinkled with little coves and bays, should you want a change of scene. Boats sail from Porto Cristo’s harbour to hidden beaches and difficult-to-reach coves like Cala Barques and the port of Cal Ratjada. Or, there are glass-bottomed boat trips where you can just sit back and enjoy the underwater landscape.

Sports & Activities

There is the possibility of activities such as cycling, jogging and walking out on the outer roads in the area. For those that enjoy water sports, there is a sailing and windsurfing school just 8 minutes’ drive located at Port Cristo Novo beach (5.5 km).
