Ideal holiday apartment located 300 ft from the long FREJUS sandy beach, facing the BASE NATURE Park (210 acres), a few steps from the sophisticated PORT-FREJUS with its restaurants and lovely walking spaces along the sea at night up to SAINT-RAPHAËL. Near the GOLDEN CORNICHE with its calanques, 30 kms from CANNES and SAINT TROPEZ. Automatic gate, video watching, private car park.

THE APARTMENT AND ITS SERVICES

The apartment has 3 bedrooms:
- The main one giving on the wide terrace with a window door closed by electric shutters. Equipped with a King size bed with its small night tables.
- The second bedroom with a double bed, wide window with electric shutters.
- The third bedroom with a single bed.
- A wide living-room with big flat screen (LG 43"), large convertible sofa-bed + lovely glass dinner table with 6/7 seats.
- American kitchen with vitroceramic cooker, Whirlpool owen, dishwasher and everything you need for holiday cooking with a family or a group of holidaymakers.
- Washing machine and double door american fridge with icecubes maker.
- Bathroom with bathtube and Italian and thermostatic shower, separated toilets,
- A wide and lovely terrace (50 m2), with barbecue, long chairs, store banne and outside dinner table.

YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LANDLADY:

BRIGITTE, The landlady, lives in a village of PROVENCE, 20 kms from FREJUS and won't disturb you during your holiday, but she will welcome you, at the SAINT RAPHAEL train station, if you wish and even at the NICE COTE D'AZUR Airport, for a reasonable price.

She will show you up the apartment and explain you the working of its equipments.

BRIGITTE will also give you plenty of tourist informations so as to make the most of your holiday.

During all your stay, she will answer your call or whatssap message to help, guide or inform you about the apartment or tourist and visiting matters.

On your leave, you will drop the key in the letter box. No inspection will be done to the apartment as we wish you to enjoy your holiday until the last minute and keep the best memory of it. We rely completely on you !

HOW TO GET TO FREJUS:

If you come by plane, you'll probably land at NICE CÔTE D'AZUR airport and you will take a train to SAINT-RAPHAËL (2km from FREJUS) from the station of SAINT AUGUSTIN, just in front of the airport. I'll wait for you at the station.

You can also rent a car from the airport, you take directly the A8 motorway, direction CANNES, AIX. FREJUS is only 60 kms from NICE AIRPORT. You put the villa adress on the GPS and you are here. I'll be waiting for you with a bottle of champagne in the fridge.

Otherwise, you arrive directly with your car, driving on the AUTOROUTE DU SOLEIL from PARIS or any other place. I'll also be there to welcome you.

You also can come by train and go down at SAINT RAPHAEL. I can wait for you at the station without any charge.

A FANTASTIC GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION:
The apartment is fantastically located in a villa in front of the holiday resort "L'Oiseau Bleu" ("The Blue Bird"), at PORT-FREJUS entrance, a very privileged place. The beach is so near that you can go walking to it in less than 3 minutes with also the possibility of enjoying the BASE NATURE Park which is right in front of the villa, where you can get into walking or riding a bike by the "rue des Batteries", behind the holiday resort, or by the main entrance, at about 50 m., or still by the pedestrian entrance which sticks to the beach. You have there along the Park, about 3 kms of fine sand beaches which extend in plain nature, without car traffic nor road inside which would interrupt walking, but only paths to go on foot.

PORT-FREJUS nearness also represents a beautiful attraction and distraction to go around on evenings along the quays for small boats, enjoy a pizza or an italian ice-cream and even from there, to start for a walk up to the smart sea-resort of SAINT RAPHAEL, taking along the FREJUS-PLAGE seaside;

On the other hand, we are on one side, 30 kms from CANNES and at two steps of the CORNICHE D'OR, and on the other side, also at 30 kms from SAINT TROPEZ, driving along the beautiful seaside road where you can see calanques and marvellous smalll beaches.

Among the strong ponts of our holiday offer, our visitors will appreciate the central position of our villa to visit some magnificent sceneries around our place; such as FREJUS Roman monuments and its cathedral, its cloitre and baptistry, as well as SAINT TROPEZ and its beautiful villages of RAMATUELLE and GASSIN as well as their beautiful beaches of PAMPLONNE and TAHITI, SAINTE MAXIME and the CORNICHE D'OR Calanques, CANNES, NICE, MONACO, SAINT PAUL DE VENCE, the VERDON CANYON and the PROVENCE villages such as CALLAS, BARGEMON and many others.

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub hier
Die Lage der Wohnung ist super. Trotz der zentralen Lage war es immer sehr ruhig. Zum Strand waren es wirklich nur ein paar Minütchen...auch zum Hafen , wo die Restaurants,Eisdielen usw sind, ist es nur ein kurzer Weg. Was uns besonders gefallen hat war, dass wir das Auto auf dem Grundstück parken konnten und es nicht draußen auf der Straße stehen musste.Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr schön groß, super klimatisiert und gut ausgestattet. Hier und da müsste mal etwas erneuert bzw. repariert werden (hat uns selbst aber nicht weiter gestört). Brigitte und ihre Familie waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit so dass wir uns sofort sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt haben.

I am a French citizen but my mother belonged to an Italian immigrant family and was born on the GOLDEN CORNICHE between SAINT-RAPHAËL and CANNES. She remembered to have run barefoot over the red porphyry rocks of LE TRAYAS and to have guided English tourists in the many calanques or small creeks existing along the sea in that area. She loved SOUTH OF FRANCE and used to tell me that every place on the coast and in the VAR PROVENCE where I now live among the vineyards, talked to her.

My mother also transmitted to me her special pleasure in welcoming visitors onto those Mediterranean exceptional destinations. Like her, "I come from the South" and I love the sun, the sea, the beautiful southern culture with the NICE Italian accent and the Provenzal one of MARCEL PAGNOL, the Marseille writer; the extraordinary surroundings of CANNES, ANTIBES, GRASSE, BIOT, SAINT PAUL DE VENCE, MENTON and MONACO, as well as of the old villages of Provence and I enjoy very much that people from other places appreciate the beauty of their landscape, their architecture and history and the way of life of their inhabitants. Any stay in one of my apartments begins with a small chat of information for my guests, giving them some useful tips and advices to have a successful holiday in that magnificent region of FRANCE..

That villa where I rent my two apartments, is an After-War family's icon who has been an exceptional witness of FREJUS transformation into a fantastic sea resort along its 9kms of fine sand beaches which extend from SAINT RAPHAEL old fisher port to the ESCLAMANDES and the GALIOTE beaches at SAINT AYGULF.

From its flowered balcony dreamt by our elders, the "Courtile aux Roses" as they had named it, witnessed one after the other, the destruction by the Malpasset dam wave, of the suburbs gathered at the feet of the medieval city, the national and international goodness and solidarity which enabled to rebuild it, the European Union birth with FREJUS as a fantastic symbol of the franco-german friendship expressed in the magnificent twin cities agreement between our town and the beautiful one of TRIBERG in the BLACK FOREST of the Southern GERMANY, the resurection of the old roman port of FORUM JULII with the building of PORT-FREJUS which last channel was extended up to the old roman light named as AUGUST LIGHT, and finally the donation of the BASE NATURE Park to the Town Hall of FREJUS by the French Army, adding that extraordinary touristic asset to that beautiful city which is a window of PROVENCE towards the CÖTE D'AZUR;

The villa location, at the end of the BOULEVARD DE LA MER, just at the entrance of PORT-FREJUS, 100 m. from the sandy beach of FRÉJUS which has been extended 2 km owing to the donation of the former Naval Air Base by the Ministry of Defense to the Town Hall of FRÉJUS, for the happiness of the Fréjussians, their visitors and holidaymakers.

Halfway between the old town of FREJUS, full of its antique and medieval charm where the Roman monuments stand on the side of the city walls and the cathedral built much later, and the modern and very sophisticated seaside resort of SAINT RAPHAEL, our villa enables its guests to come and go between history and holidays seaside pleasures.

2. Another strong point is the privacy and exclusiveness of staying instead of in a large apartment building, in a villa with a small condominium secured by an electric gate and a video-watching system, with a two cars parking for the proposed apartment.

3. A third strong point is the comfort and the accommodation capacity of the apartment, with bedding for 8 people in 3 bedrooms and a mezzanine. Its equipment is also remarkable, taking into account the quality of its electro-domestic household and its 55" flat screen for an excellent viewing of programs and films provided through a live-box and a special subscription. Also of interest are its unlimited internet and Wi-Fi service as well as its free landline telephony worldwide.
