A beautiful character property in a gem of a village

We had a lovely week staying in this typical Alsatian house. It had everything we needed for self catering but there are plenty of places to eat out too. The house was immaculate and comfortable. We arrived in a heat wave - thankfully there were two fans to cool us down. We enjoyed the selection of local produce to sample (including a gift of a bottle of local Riesling and a Bundt cake which disappeared quickly) Eguisheim is also very well placed for the wine route and many interesting historical and cultural sites. One of the highlights was driving the Route des Crêtes to the Grand Ballon for spectacular views of the Vosges mountains and the Rhine valley.

Situation géographique idéale pour notre projet de vacances entre randonnées, visites de villages typiques et restauration gourmande. Nous avons dîner tous les soirs en terrasse. Ce village d'Eguisheim est tout simplement superbe.

Das war’s dann aber auch. Eng, dunkel, warm, laut. Durch die Lage direkt in der Altstadt ist an Nachtruhe vor 23:00 nicht zu denken. Sehr kleines Doppelbett. Eine Winterdecke: auch im Hochsommer!!! Schimmel in der Dusche. Terrasse und Hausmüllplatz in einem. Unübertroffen die sehr!! kurzen Wege zum einkaufen und in die Gastronomie

Nicht für gehbehinderte Personen!!Zusatzkosten!!

Das Häuschen ist nett eingerichtet, schön gelegen. Was nicht in der Anzeige steht:-es ist mit den engen steilen Stufen nicht für gehbehinderte Personen geeignet. Auch die Zusatzkosten für Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind nicht aufgeführt. Ebenso der Parkplatz, man kann nicht!! am Haus Parken, wäre wohl zusätzlich kostenpflichtig, war aber auch gar nicht möglich. Wir haben das Auto während des Ausräumens auf den Plätzen für Anwohnern kurz stehen lassen und prompt einen Strafzettel erhalten, Höhe der Strafe steht noch aus..
