This is a truly delightful house with a secure south facing garden. Four bedrooms, large living/dining room, lovely bright well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a cloakroom, delightful private garden with large garden room and a private courtyard. Parking in the driveway for two cars. The master bedroom has a king and a single bed with en suite shower room. One double bedroom has a super king bed which can be separated into two large singles (request before arrival please). The third bedroom has a queen double bed and french windows opening onto the courtyard. The fourth bedroom has another queen double bed with french windows opening onto the private garden. The latter two rooms can take couples but you may prefer them as single bedrooms. The property is perfect for 4 golfers who don't wish to share a bedroom! The garden has a gate which leads to the promenade, cycle path, beach and rock pools. Every child's paradise! All that is required is the weather! Troon really has its own little micro climate as it benefits from the warm gulf stream and often avoids the rain as it is situated in Arran's rain shadow. Many are amazed to find Troon dry and sunny whilst the rain is pouring down less than half a mile away!
You will love watching the kite surfers flying past and the amazing sunsets. The property is ideally situated for all amenities. It is the first property on the beachfront next to the prestigious Royal Troon Golf Club. It is about a seven minute walk to the train station providing a regular service to Glasgow (40 minutes) We have many lovely restaurants if you prefer not to cook whilst on holiday. We also have many restaurants that will provide takeaways for you to enjoy a meal in the comfort of your own home. If you do wish to show off your culinary skills then you will want for nothing in the very well equipped kitchen which also boasts a large brand new fridge freezer and a large double oven with ceramic hob.

We enjoyed a lovely week at this property. The house was spacious very clean and well stocked. Close to the beach, town and surrounding amenities. Very friendly and helpful owner. All in all a great family break.

Lovely property close to beach
We had a long weekend here as a family group. The house is excellent - close to beach and shops, and equipped with everything that you could possibly need for a short or long stay. We are hoping to visit again later this year. Thank you - we had a lovely time!

Very clean, larger than expected and well equipped apartment. Brilliant location in Troon just by the beach and easy walking distance to all the places to eat in the village. Great for those travelling with a four legged friend. June made us feel part of the family and on hand for any questions. Would definitely recommend this holiday home.

I was born and brought up in Darvel in the Irvine Valley and travelled to school in Ayr. I left Ayrshire to go to Edinburgh Uni in 1971. After uni I remained in Edinburgh to work and bring up our three children with my husband John. Although we had a wonderful life in Edinburgh I always had a longing to return to Ayrshire where I grew up. Once our children left school we did just that and are presently enjoying retired life in the upper villa of this lovely property which used to belong to my parents. We love living here in Troon and hope that if you choose to stay in the Seaside Garden Villa here at 86 South Beach you too will enjoy your stay. It is a very quiet part of Troon and you can relax in your garden listening to the waves and the call of the sea birds. This summer we had a gorgeous family of blue tits in the garden fledge from their birdbox. They were a delight to watch. Very relaxing and good for the soul!

Why they chose this property

The double upper of this property belonged from 1980 to my parents. We always enjoyed visiting them from Edinburgh especially the children who thoroughly relished their freedom to play in the dunes, swim in the sea, fish in the rock pools, play on the beach, cycle on the promenade, play golf on the local courses and play tennis! In May 2017 I purchased the lower part of this beautiful house and I am now delighted to offer this property for holiday lets so that others can have a similar opportunity to enjoy this lovely location. The scope is enormous! The seaside ground floor villa is perfect for a family or a couple looking for a peaceful break from busy life. It is also ideal for golfers and is situated next to Royal Troon and also the many local golf courses in the area. Many families from around the globe have enjoyed bringing their children here for a lovely seaside break. I have had several guests from the USA coming to retrace their heritage and to have a good time! I have had groups staying after a wedding to continue their celebrations and families often celebrating a parent or grandparent's special birthday or anniversary.

What makes this property unique

Bright, sunny and quite spacious accommodation. The garden greenhouse is spacious and has a new log burning stove to cosy up in the winter days. It is a perfect place for you to relax and watch your children play safely in the private garden. If you or your children enjoy cycling you can cycle safely as along the promenade or try the many cycle paths on offer. It is also a short walk to the play park and our delightful little town where you can enjoy a variety of coffee shops, tea rooms and restaurants.
