Parking NOT Included!
The apartment itself was fine with beautiful views of the town, chateau & Cap Canaille but we had a major problem with parking!
The HomeAway website stated 'parking included' for this apartment but when we got there we found that parking was NOT included! We had to pay 17.50 euro to park the first night and further amounts on subsequent days, until we found a parking space some distance away, up a steep hill which was a great inconvenience to us. We specifically booked this apartment because parking was (supposedly) included!
The owner told us that parking was always an optional extra and that it had to be reserved and paid for in advance. It turned out that the parking option was not available for our week in any case. He said that he had made this clear on the French 'Abritel' website and he considered that HomeAway had translated it wrongly in English.
(A lesser problem was that the apartment did not have wifi but this does not seem to be in the HomeAway description.)
