A main bathroom with WC, sink, a bath with shower over it, a shaving socket and heated towel rail.

A cupboard by the main door to store jackets, bags, shoes and umbrellas (we provide a couple of umbrellas for you to use during your stay, just in case you need them).

A living/dining room with views out to the well maintained, neighbourhood gardens. To ensure you are as comfortable as possible, the living room has two three-seater leather sofas with eight large cushions. There is also a beautiful oak dining table that seats six; perfect for hosting a family meal or for playing board games at. There is a 40 inch HDTV in the living room with Freeview television channels and a games console, which can be used to play DVDs and console games (a selection of DVDs and games are provided at the apartment). Please note that the games console is not connected to the internet.

If you wish to connect your laptop or tablet to the TV, you can do so via an HDMI cable (not provided).

All mattresses are "medium to firm", and there is high-speed, fibre optic wireless in the apartment.

Parking directly outside the apartment is by permit only, and one permit is available for guests to use; there is no charge for this service, but £30 will be deducted from the deposit if the permit is not returned at the end of your stay. If your group has more than one car, there is additional free (on street) parking within a 1-2 minute walk.

The apartment is on the ground floor, making it ideal for families with children. It's also accessible for guests who have minor mobility problems (please note that, because there are a few steps up to the main door, the apartment is not wheelchair accessible).

For guests with allergies, we do not use feather pillows or duvets. Our towels and bed linen are 100% cotton and they are washed in non-biological detergent for delicate skin.

If you do not require the use of all three bedrooms, we are able to offer a small discount; please contact us for further details.

Amazing weekend
We had such a good time during our stay in Edinburgh. Maya had thought of everything and more for our arrival. The accommodation was clean with lots of space. When we go back Edinburgh we would definitely stay here again

Lovely Apartment in Great Location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment, it was spacious, clean and very well equipped. Everything you needed was provided. We loved the welcome goodies, especially the dark chocolate Tunnock Teacakes as we had not seen them before. There was also ingredients for breakfast for a couple of days. The tram stop was a short walk away as were two supermarkets. The location was quiet even though it was only a couple of tram stops away from the centre. Our group was made up of 3 couples and each couple had their own set of keys which was very convenient and also very unusual. Maya was an excellent communicator and host. Highly recommended.

Bruce Springsteen stay!
We were a group of 6, 5 adults & an 11 year old. Our visit to Edinburgh was for the Bruce Springsteen concert at murrayfield stadium. The location could not have been better for our stay! It was so easy to walk the 5min journey from the stadium after the concert kicked out rather than joining the queue for the trams with the other thousands! The apt was perfect for our needs & we particularly appreciated the welcome pack that Maya left including bacon, eggs, bread, butter, milk, oj & chocolates! And finally to Maya - what a wonderful host. So friendly & responsive providing answers to any questions we had - first class! Thank you Maya

About the host

Host profile image
I was born and raised just outside of Edinburgh and I have lived here all my life. I love to travel and experience other cultures, but I always love returning to my beautiful "home town". I adore this city and I chose to buy and refurbish this property with my family so I could help others enjoy Edinburgh, too.

I graduated in 2000 as a theatre administrator and go the theatre as regularly as I can. I also enjoy reading, sewing, scuba diving, trail running, listening to live music, baking, and cooking for friends and family. If there's anything you'd like to know about me, please ask.

Why they chose this property

The apartment is bright, spacious, well-presented and has a well-equipped kitchen. It's only a 2-3 minute walk from the nearest tram stop (and is only two tram stops from the West End). Although the location is close to the city centre, it's situated in a quiet residential area; perfect for enjoying the bustle of the city during the day, then retiring to a comfortable apartment for peace and quiet after a long day of sightseeing and taking in the local culture. It's on the ground floor, making it ideal for families with children. It's also more accessible for guests who have mild mobility problems. Please note that, because there are a few steps up to the main door, the apartment is not wheelchair accessible.

What makes this property unique

There is free residents' parking available immediately outside, which is unusual for properties in Edinburgh, making it an ideal apartment for guests travelling to Edinburgh by car, or for those using the apartment as a base to explore further afield. Use of the parking permit is included in the rental and the parking permit is given to guests on arrival.
