Our old stone house with a lauze roof of 130m2 is in the center of the listed hamlet of Vignale, in Canari (located between Nonza and Centuri), in a breathtaking natural site located 300 meters above sea level. It offers three magnificent terraces (20, 12, 8 m2) with 180 ° panoramic views of the sea and the daily spectacle of the sunset in front of you. The interior has just been completely refurbished in a sleek contemporary style while retaining the old charm of the house (polished concrete on the ground floor, old oiled floors on the first floor). Fully equipped kitchen (dishes, freezer + washing machine). A large living room and a small summer living room. Two very large bedrooms with sea view, plus 1 small bedroom. 1 marble bathroom with bath and shower, 1 bathroom with polished concrete shower. Vintage furniture (1930s and 1950s) and contemporary designer furniture; Fermob garden furniture. Near the house, large terraced land with old dry stone walls and magnificent umbrella pine.
The intimate marine of Scala (Marinca) is accessible on foot (30 minutes on foot) or by car. The superb beaches of Albo and Giottani are around 10 minutes by car. The village of Canari has two grocery stores, 1 bakery, 1 butcher, a nice bar with snacks, 2 famous restaurants (Le Bon Clocher, Le Chat qui Pêche).

Cap Corse at its best in Canari

Un logement magnifique dans le village de Canari, plongé sur la mer…. Des très belles terrasses avec vue(s) complètent une veille maison rénovée et aménagée avec retenue, beaucoup de goût et généreuse dans le quotidien. Son équipement et aménagement permet d’y vivre, d’y cuisiner etc de manière très agréable, avec tout le confort. Sa bibliothèque donne envie de s’y plonger, même si le séjour est peut-être pas assez long… Si la mer et les plages sont peut-être un peu éloignées pour un bain rapide, la maison offre un cadre magnifique pour y passer des journées détendues. Et s’offrent de belles promenades dans le village et dans la paysage proche… À recommander très sincairement

Charming, beautiful house

Canari is a lovely, pretty nest located a few hundred meters above sea level and has a very charming village life with everything you need to live and dream. Dinner at 'au bon clocher' and have the 'Cafe gourmand' and drinks at 'Bar des amis'. The house itself has been carefully and exquisitely restored and meets the highest standards. The three terraces offer breathtaking views and sundowners. Hikes are possible directly from the house.

Wonderful Cap Corse

The house is full of charm and character, and the views sont epoustouflantes ! Valerie met us with a warm welcome and was most helpful with a couple of things we needed. Canari is a quiet village and the people are most friendly. We would love to go back. If you go, gas/petrol is not as far away as you may think—20 to 30 minute drive at foreigner’s speed limit (i.e. slow) in Pino. John and Sandra Vermont U.S

Entschleunigung pur.

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier richtig. Man benötigt zwar zwingend ein Fahrzeug aber in Canari ticken die Uhren gefühlt sehr viel langsamer. Durch die tolle Lage hat man von fast überall Meerblick. Einfach irgendwo hinsetzen, gucken und genießen. Vielleicht auch bei einem guten Essen und einem guten Wein im „Bon Clocher“ oder bei einem korsischen Bier und einem leckeren Burger oder Pizza im „Des Amis“. Oder direkt von der wundervollen Terrasse des Ferienhaus. Hier könnte man stundenlang sitzen und den Blick auf‘s Meer genießen. Das Haus ist sehr schön, hat drei tolle Terrassen ist sehr schön restauriert und war sogar in 2021 in einer französischen Wohnzeitschrift. Hier kommt allerdings die einzige kleine Kritik. Meiner Meinung nach könnte es etwas praxisnäher ausgestattet sein. Wer gerne selber kocht, wird mit der Ausstattung der Küche nicht glücklich sein. Nur zwei Kasserollen ohne Topfdeckel und ein Drei Zonen Kochfeld mit unglücklichen Abmessungen. Auch die Vielfalt der Küchenmesser ist für Hobbyköche unzureichend. Die Terrassenmöbel auf der großen Terrasse sind zum Essen bequem, zum chillen allerdings ungeeignet. Oben gibt es zwar zwei Sonnenliegen, allerdings keinen Sonnenschirm. Das wird aber durch wundervolle Sonnenuntergänge und den tollen Ort ausgeglichen. Cap Corse ist für Ausflüge oder Wanderungen prädestiniert. Überall unglaubliche Ausblicke und schöne kleine Örtchen. Die Küstenstraße bietet ständig neue Highlights. Für uns war der schönste Strand in Farinole. Man muss zwar eine halbe Stunde Anfahrt in Kauf nehmen, findet dafür aber einen Sandstrand mit Dusche und einem sehr gemütlichen Strandlokal. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und werden von unserem Aufenthalt bestimmt noch lange zehren können.

Eine Schönheit!

Wenn Sie denken, die Fotos können dieses Haus beschreiben, liegen Sie nicht ganz richtig. Es ist noch viel schöner, als die Bilder zu zeigen vermögen. Wir (2 Erwachsene + 3 Teenager) haben dieses Haus für 10 Tage im August gemietet und waren überwältigt: es ist nicht nur wunderschön und bis ins kleinste Detail mit viel Liebe renoviert, sondern außerdem viel weitläufiger und größer als auf den Fotos zu erkennen. Außer dem auch im heißesten August wunderbar kühl und luftig. Der Ausblick von den Terrassen, von denen es drei (!) gibt, ist toll und liefert jeden Abend zuverlässig schönste Sonnenuntergänge. Dazu ist Canari ein sehr nettes Dorf mit einem freundlichen kleinen Lebensmittelladen und lebhafter Bar unweit des Hauses. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter und der Haushälterin vor Ort war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn Sie nach Cap Corse kommen wollen.
