3 Double Bedrooms With 3 Bathrooms, Views From Every Window

This cottage offers a lounge with log burning stove logs provided, which leads into a large conservatory with views as far down as Mull to the right and to the left outstanding views of Glencoe. The Kitchen is well equipped and has all appliances gas hob, large double electric oven, microwave, plus dishwasher. The cottage has a convenient down stairs toilet and shower room. First floor there are 3 large bedrooms, master bedroom is en-suite with 4ft6 bed plus a 32'' TV built in wardrobes for all your clothes, the 2nd bedroom has a 5ft bed, both double beds have feather bedding, and 3rd bedroom is a twin, again built in wardrobes. A second bathroom is also on this level is has a shower over the bath. Gas central heating throughout and plenty of parking for upto 3 cars, barbecue and outside furniture.

Very comfortable

We have stayed twice in October and February and found it warm and comfortable. It has a superb lounge with wall height windows so that you can sit and enjoy the view of the sea and hills and of cours eit is next to the sea.

Stunning views, quiet and relaxing

The area and views are totally stunning and we enjoyed ourselves very much in this relaxing area. The cottage itself was lovely and had great views of the Loch although it did have a couple of snagging problems and issues which I think need attention. The shower heads were of particular concern, the en-suite shower head had black slime coming from it and the family bathroom shower head wasn't much better. I had to clean the en-suite shower head before I could use it so couldn't inform the owners straight away. The toilet in the same room didn't flush properly and the sink took ages to drain so just a little maintenance would make it even better.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit toller Lage für Unternehmungen

Vielen Dank für 14 Tage in dieser schönen Wohnung. Es ist alles vorhanden, gute Ausstattung und fantastische Sicht auf den Fjord und die Berge vom Wintergarten aus. Dazu gepflegt und sauber. Die Lage ist ideal um das Gebiet um Fort Wiliams und Oban zu erkunden. Wir haben tolle Wanderungen gemacht, den Ben Nevis bei blauem Himmel und Sonnenschein bestiegen (ist nur an wenigen Tagen im Jahr möglich), einen Strandtag an der Sanna Bay eingelegt (unbedingt machen - weiße Strände), Mull und Iona kennengelernt. Außerdem schöne Gärten ...... Ein idealer Auagangspunkt für einen ersten Schottlandbesuch. Wenn man es "ruhiger" haben will, dann muss man doch weiter in den Nordwesten fahren. Wir kannten diese Gegend noch nicht, deshalb für uns ideal.

Owner's Response: This is the english translation. Thank you for 14 days in this beautiful apartment. There is everything available, good facilities and fantastic view of the fjord and the mountains from the winter garden. Well maintained and clean. The location is ideal to explore the area around Fort Wiliams and Oban. We have made great walks, which Ben Nevis climbed in blue sky and sunshine (is possible only a few days a year), a beach day at the Sanna Bay (absolutely make - white beaches), Mull and Iona. In addition, beautiful gardens ...... An ideal starting point for a first visit to Scotland. If you want it to be "quieter", then you have to go further north. We did not know this area, so it was ideal for us.

Glencoe being 7 miles south and Fort William 8 miles north, where the highest mountain in the UK can be found, Ben Nevis, there are plenty of things to do. Visit a battle ground from the clan age, ride a steam train through some beautiful scenery to Mallaig, which travels over the famous viaduct from the Harry porter movies. Or take a walk to one of the many waterfalls in the area. Visit the ski resorts for down hill bike riding or winter ski sports. Sample our exceptional sea food, collected daily for the loch's. You can take a ferry to visit the small islands to view all the wildlife there is to offer.
