About this property

Welcome to the Northwoods! This four-season cabin is located directly across the road from beautiful Lake Metonga in Crandon. Known for its great fishery and overall recreational opportunities, Lake Metonga is one of the larger jewels of the Northwoods.

Shopping, swimming, hunting, fishing, off-road racing, and snowmobiling are just a few of the yearly attractions awaiting you outside the cabin, which sits on the snowmobile trail and directly across from a park with horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, swing sets, a boat landing and sandy beach (with lifeguard). Within walking distance of downtown, our rental home features a large kitchen with hickory cabinets and breakfast bar, gas-burning stone fireplace, loft sleeping and TV viewing area, two large bedrooms on the lower level, and wrap-around patio with a full size picnic table.
Whether your intent is to play hard or just relax, you will find everything you need in the Northwoods!

Family wedding

We stayed for the weekend while attending the wedding of a family memeber, and it was the perfect home away from home, where we were able to bring our fur babies to enjoy the experience with us!

Weekend up north

Overall, the accommodations were what we were looking for and were good enough for our stay. The location is close to ATV/snowmobile trails and the view from the lake is nice. The owner was also accommodating of our pets. The only negative was the level of cleanliness despite the additional charges for a “cleaning fee.”
