Week away in Normandy

Clean house situated in a quiet rural area. Nice spacious grounds and table / picnic table to sit outside to enjoy the peace and quiet. Close to coast and landing beaches as well as a short ride to Bayeux which is lovely. Nearest village has a pizza bar for a meal as well as a local small shop for essentials. Bayeux has larger supermarkets if you need them.

Couldn't ask for better

From the moment of booking Yves was excellent at replying to e-mails, helping with plans etc. for a trip in which me and my son intended to explore the D-Day sites. The property location is excellent for this with every location between 10 minutes and an hour away, and with a supermarket also just 10 minutes away. It is in the countryside and very peaceful, spotlessly clean and much larger than expected i.e. there is an extensive garden in which to relax after a day of touring. Everything you could possibly need is provided (which in our case even included a DVD player). Thank you Yves for making our stay so enjoyable - I would certainly return.

Beautiful holiday home

The host Yves was very helpful, the location of this lovely home is set in beautiful Normandy countryside, the perfect place to relax and unwind . Will certainly be coming back with the family.

Beautiful house at perfect central but very tranquil location

Yves is a great host, friendly, and informative. The house was great both as house and location. The house is around 20-30 minutes to many interesting locations like omaha beach , the american cemetery, bayeux, st mere eglice, point du hoc, etc. Overall we had a very good stay. Thanks Yves.

Rural Tranquility

Brinville gite , located in the countryside, is fully equipped, very comfortable and brilliant wi.fi. Shopping in Trévières is 4 miles away and perfectly adequate Spacious and large secluded garden. It is very peaceful.
