I grew up in the hamlets of Bigorre - Les Maziaux, exploring the beautiful natural surrounding and inventing castles and knights stories while scrambling to the top of the village's basaltic hill offering a 360° view over the Meyzenc plateau and valleys. I no longer live there but my parents still do. I often go back with my family to visit and reconnect with my roots. I have travelled to different parts of the world and it made me realize how special Bigorre - Les Maziaux was: the architecture of stone houses with thatched and slated roofs, the landscape marked by its volcanic past, the views and its residents, die-hard lovers of old stones, tasty local food and nature.
My parents, Michel and Annie will be your hosts. They live 5 minutes away from our house and are great resource for things to do and see in the area.
