A little piece of heaven...

  • 5 of 5

This house is all we had hoped and more. Beautifully renovated with the perfect mix of rustic Tuscan charm and modern convenience. The outside is as well furnished as inside with plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the mountain views.

Our hostess Stefania couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. We hope to return next year.

Highly recommended.

Fantastic holiday home!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for two weeks in this great property. The location is fantastic as it is close to local amenities and only a short drive to the centre of Lucca. It is also an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area.

The house is well equipped and has a modem flair while keeping it's rustic charm. My two young children loved playing in the large garden and the outside kitchen/dining area is a real bonus.

The owner Stefania is very friendly and always available to help if needed. I would highly recommend this property and would love to return again some day.

Outstanding Vacation Home!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a week at this lovely vacation home near Lucca in Tuscany. It was an outstanding location with a view of the hillsides and olive trees. We were so pleased with the host, the location, and the facilities.

The home has an incredible rustic charm. Fully refurbished, yet retaining the charm of a home built in the 1800s.

We cooked dinners several times as well as breakfast daily and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Your so close to all of northern Tuscany from this location - and close to La Spezia and Cinque Terre are just a day trip away as well.

This was the perfect option for a quiet country retreat that's still close enough to the famous sites in northern Tuscany to be able to take day trips.

We loved this spot and can recommend it without reservations to family travelers or a romantic getaway.

Traditional flair with modern interior

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house in summer 2015. The house is built in a traditional Tuscany style, yet the interior seems pretty new and valuable. The house lies in a quiet neighborhood, next to an Olive grove. The host Stefania is charming and was always eager to give us tips for sightseeing and shopping nearby. Our personal favorite was the really nice patio with the outdoor kitchen and the grill. For our next trip to the Tuscany, we'll definitely try to get the house again. A litte addition to the description: At the house, you find two sunloungers.

The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The location is perfect for people who want to visit Tuscany. It is relatively close to every worthwhile site. There are great restaurants in the area. We had a great time and really enjoyed the area and the owner is always available and helpful to make your stay enjoyable. We would not hesitate to recommend to our family and friends.

Charming Tuscan house

  • 5 of 5

The house is in a great location for visiting Pisa, Lucca & Florence and generally getting about northern and central Tuscany. The property was very clean and well maintained and just as described in the property description. The outside dinning area was a great facility especially with the bbq and stone sink. Stephania is incredibly helpful and on the occasion that we managed to lock ourselves out of the house she arrived within minutes to let us in. Reasonably fast wi-fi connection as well which is always useful. Highly recommended.

This area has a wealth of beautiful ancient villas as Villa Manzi, Villa Torrigiani, Villa Reale and Villa Grabau etc, which were once the home of the nobility of Lucca. All villas are open to the public. (Check opening times)

A panoramic road known as the 'Strada del Vino' ('Wine Route') runs through past many local villages and farmhouse estate where visitors can buy the best local oil and wine.
