No. 7, Trevarthian House:

Large first floor apartment with views towards Penzance and Mounts Bay. The large open-plan lounge/diner and kitchen has a 32 inch flat-screen digital television (new for 2013) and DVD player. The kitchen has an oven with hobs, a microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment. The first bedroom has a double-bed while the second bedroom has bunk beds. The bathroom has an electric walk-in shower (no bath).

The usual changeover day at for Flat 7 Trevarthian House is Saturday (although we have do have other options with Friday changeovers). We generally look to book the accommodation on a weekly basis in the peak-season of April-October and during school holidays. For short-breaks or part-week bookings please email/call us for a quote but often during busy times the full week rate will apply.

The apartment is heated by central heating radiators and there is also an additional electric fire in the lounge.

About Trevarthian House: Trevarthian House is a large detached grade 2 listed building of architectural and historic interest. Situated in its own grounds, with beautiful views of St. Michael’s Mount and Mount’s Bay, the house lies within fifty yards of the sandy beach. Built by a Tin Smelter and Merchant by the name of Gilbert Pearce in the Victorian era, Trevarthian House was one of the largest residences in Marazion’s history. Its architectural style, palm trees, gardens and beach side location offer a colonial feel and the stained glass window and mosaic floor of the entrance hall hint at grandeurs of the past.

The grounds of Trevarthian House offer a tranquil holiday setting in which to relax. The location allows guests to be opposite the beach and St. Michael’s Mount while within four hundred yards of the centre of Marazion. The private driveway joins the main road through Marazion making Trevarthian Holiday Homes easy to find and a convenient starting point for visiting the surrounding area. Penzance, St Ives and Land End are a short car or bus journey away. The apartments are all self-contained and refurbished to a very high standard. There is an office, free laundry and large private car park on site. There is also a bus stop 50 yards away.

Trevarthian Holiday Homes is a family business focusing on quality self-catering accommodation in Marazion, Cornwall. All our properties are located opposite Marazion Beach and St Michael’s Mount.

The properties are managed by Sean Cattran and have been part of the Cattran family business for three generations. This means we know our properties very well and care for them as we would our own homes. We are not an agency and do not look after any properties that are not owned by us.

Trevarthian House is one of the oldest properties in the town and is located in the prime situation along the front of Marazion. 50 yards from beach. Many apartments have sea views, some have superb panoramic bay views of St Michael’s Mount, Mousehole, Newlyn and Penzance. All are refurbished to a high standard and we regularly make improvements and alterations over the winter months.

Trevarthian House is a large Victorian building divided into spacious apartments that can sleep between two and five people. We have a large private car park and gardens.

From any of these properties it is just a two-five minute walk to the safe sandy beach, children’s playground, village pubs, restaurants, galleries, shops, bus-routes for Lands End, St Ives, Penzance.

A wonderful base in a lovely part of Cornwall

This accommodation was wonderful very clean and tidy with very comfortable beds . We had flat 7 which had a view of the sea out of two windows being that we had our stay in the winter I was amazed on how warm the heating kept the flat we arrived late which was no problem to Sean the owner and he had gone on and put the heating on for us so it was lovely and toastie when we arrived a very pleasant chap who was very friendly would definately stay again.

My family & I stayed here for a week over Easter. I'd looked at many rentals in Cornwall but prices were very steep. Then I came across this reasonable priced accommodation and after contacting Sean our mind was made up and were we pleased on arrival. Their are 12 lets on the property all overlooking the sea and some St Michaels mount. The property was spotless and immaculately clean throughout. All utensils and anything you need is accommodated for . You are literally 2 mins from the beach and Penzance is within walking distance along the beach front. Marathon village is located 2 mins away with restaurants and local amenities close by. I recommend Bens Kitchen and the Godolphin Arms for excellent food and views over looking the sea. Superb value for money are the apartments and we will certainly be going back in the future. If your looking for a relaxing break that doesn't break the bank then I recommend here for sure.
