About this property

Apartment of 50 m², T3 calm and renovated, 50 m from the large beach

Our 50m² apartment is located on the courtyard side, on the first floor of an old family house, which has 4 apartments. Renovated in 2016, we wanted it simple and functional. The beach is 50m, Place Louis XIV 100m, shops, cafes and restaurants are close by, within walking distance, and yet you will be quiet. At the end of the street is a square with games for children and a small pediment.
The apartment is located in a quiet historic area between the beach and the port. Cortchou Baïta, the name of the house, dates from the beginning of the 17th century.
From there you can do it all on foot! And for those who would like not to use the car, you arrive by train (the stations, SNCF and bus, are 10 minutes on foot) and then you use public transport to visit the surroundings. Bayonne, Biarritz, Guétary, Bidart and Hendaye are served by train and bus. Sare, Saint Pée sur Nivelle and Urrugne can be reached by bus. To go to San Sebastian, take the Topo at Hendaye station. From the port, you can take the small maritime shuttle (Le passeur) which will take you to Socoa: a very pleasant way to cross the bay! You can also admire the coast by embarking at the port for sea trips or fishing trips.
The apartment is equipped with: induction hob, fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, iron, washing machine and tumble dryer. Beach games and trolley on wheels (to go shopping!) are stored in the cellar.
The apartment is non-smoking, pets are not allowed.

As if I were at home for three weeks!
The apartment is clean and bright, excellent lighting (dining room, kitchen, over beds, at sofa), kitchen was well equiped with plenty of dishes, heavy pans, some condiments, frig/freezer. It was totally quiet-- no street noise at night, only the sound of the ocean and the church bells. The promenade was just around the corner and up the stairs. Madam Bajenoff, although she is not on-site, always responded immediately and effectively.

L'appartement est extrêmement bien situé. A deux pas de la mer et de la place Louis XIV. Et pourtant, la rue est calme, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. L'appartement est très agréable et confortable, rénové avec goût. On s'y sent vraiment bien. Nous avons eu mal au coeur de ne pas pouvoir rester plus longtemps. J'ajoute que le contact avec la propriétaire a été excellent. Et nous avons été très bien accueillies par Isabelle qui est charmante. Expérience à renouveler!

Je reviens d’une semaine dans cette location : État de l’appartement impeccable ,2 belle chambres une sdbain très grande. Côté cuisine et salle à manger...rien à dire La situation géographique est au top. Possibilité de parking sans soucis meme en période de vacances. Le seul point négatif c’est que je suis resté qu’une semaine...😢 A recommandé sans hésiter
