The Gig is a beautiful, newly refurbished sea-facing house with wonderful views across Falmouth harbour to Flushing and St Mawes in a quiet location, yet just a few steps from Falmouth town centre. Originally the gate house for the Arwenack Estate, The Gig has undergone a full, stylish, no-expense spared renovation.

When entering the ground floor you will find two bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed from which you can enjoy beautiful views over Falmouth Bay, the harbour and the super-yachts. A set of bi-fold doors open across in front of you to let the Cornish sea air and sunshine stream in to allow you to enjoy this ever changing view from your bed!

Your second bedroom can be made up as two single beds or another super-king bed allowing flexible accommodation for families or couples.

Your stylish family bathroom is located between the two bedrooms and contains a large shower, basin, sleep inducing freestanding bath and wc with a view over the Bay.

Upstairs there is a wonderfully bright and light open plan living area across the entire floor with expansive views over Falmouth Bay and its super-yachts. The high exposed ceiling is open vaulted with exposed wooden beams. Hand crafted tongue and groove paneling is a feature throughout. Large, bi-fold doors that stretch half way across the sea facing view can be pushed back to open up the front of the house to the cheerful sights and sounds of the sea. Curl up on the sofa and watch this maritime wonder world unfurl in front of you.

The dining area with comfortable tongue and groove seating allows you and five others to dine in comfort, while the wood-burning stove creates a cosy glow for cooler evenings. A brand new kitchen finishes the whole area off completely.

Within a few minutes’ walk you will find: Rick Stein’s restaurant, a wide range of other fine restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, galleries, pubs, the National Maritime museum, the ferry across Falmouth Bay to St.Mawes, sandy Gyllynvase beach and Pendennis Castle. A short drive will take you to world renowned Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens, Maenporth and Swanpool beaches and Falmouth Golf Club.

The Gig welcomes you and one well behaved dog. It can also be hired with neighbouring sister property ‘ The Giggle’ that sleeps two, accommodating groups of six people in total.

Private, off street parking is provided for you at The Gig.
