Modern spacious property, superbly located in the Maurienne valley

The Tower House is centrally located in the Maurienne valley, ideal for access to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, Saint-Michelle-de-Maurienne, the surrounding peaks and skiing areas. Situated on the ridge above Saint-Martin de-la-Port, it offers a commanding view of the valley below.

We, a group of 10 cyclists on an Alpine cycling tour, stayed in Grand Peron, the upper level apartment, which is of a contemporary design and was really spacious, easily accommodating us in the four bedrooms, with space for more! The bedrooms accommodate up to 15 people, mainly in single beds, which was ideal for our requirements, and there are futons in the upper and lower lounges for more. The modern fully fitted kitchen, including the all-important dishwasher, and a dining table suitable for up to 10 people, were more than adequate for all our cooking and dining requirements during the week. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided in the upper level shower room for laundry requirements. The secure garage is fitted out with wall mounted cycle racks, which were absolutely ideal for the safe and secure storage of our bicycles and accessories. Outside there is plenty of parking available on the enclosed driveway and barbecue and outdoor seating is provided on the lower terrace. We did find that it tends to be very windy between about 10:00 and 20:00 on a daily basis and there is not much in the way of useable garden.

Highly recommended for families and larger groups requiring plenty of space.

Owner's Response: I am glad Dave that you appreciated the house, its comfort and its location in the maurienne valley. It is indeed really ideal for cycling as well as for skiing... For unlarging the garden areas of the house, we have planned some outside works in early july ; we are indeed going to widen grounds on each side current terraces. It will thus allow to have more flat garden areas to take advantage of the sun and rest outside on deckchairs after a long day of bike... Hope to see you again then !

Excellent séjour

Idéale pour un grand groupe. La maison était chaleureuse, spacieuse, très propre et nous y avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous sommes allés dans la région principalement pour le ski. il y a plusieurs stations de ski pas loin de st martin de la porte entre 15 et 30 min en voiture.

Le propriétaire est adorable, il a été présent pour tout renseignement à tout moment. Aussi bien avant pendant et après le séjour. Vivement conseillé pour partager un bon moment avec ses proches.

Owner's Response: Ce fut un plaisir que d'échanger avec Pamela pour préparer son séjour, pendant pour qu'il se déroule au mieux et après le séjour pour débriefer et améliorer encore la location. Le tout dans un état d'esprit positif et constructif. Ce sera avec plaisir de vous recevoir à nouveau. Et je conseille vivement Pamela en tant que locataire.
