About this property

For rent in Carlux, 15 km from Sarlat (24) and Souillac (46), in a pretty village in the Périgord Noir.
Cottage 4-5 people, all comfort, dishwasher, 2 bedrooms (1 large double bed / two single beds), convertible sofa, bathroom (shower & bath). Outside heated swimming pool from April to September, games for children, adventure circuit, volleyball, table tennis etc. ...
Insert fireplace with wood provided, and barbecue.
Non smoking cottage.
For hygienic reasons, our animal friends are not accepted,

The house is located near the village, shops (bakery-pastry shop, grocery store, bar-tabac, press, farmers market, restaurants), medical office, post office. You can, within a radius of a few kilometers, visit many tourist sites: classified villages (Domme, Beynac, La Roque Gageac, Rocamadour, the medieval city of Sarlat and its large bi-weekly market), castles (Beynac, Castelnaud, Fénelon ), prehistoric caves (Lascaux, Fond de Gaume, Les Eyzies and its National Museum of Prehistory, Lacave, Gouffre de Padirac) and several remarkable gardens (Eyrignac, Marqueyssac de Cadiot gardens. The Dordogne river is located below the village, it allows swimming, canoeing, angling. Several cycling and hiking trails crisscross the region. Markets, restaurants and farms in the surrounding villages allow you to discover the products that make Perigord cuisine famous (geese, ducks, truffles, porcini mushrooms, etc.). Children can enjoy several amusement parks (aquariums, zoos, tree climbing).
You will appreciate the Dordogne both for its outdoor activities, its sites, its landscapes and its gastronomy.

Super week-end passé dans cette maison ou il manque absolument rien, la vu est magnifique de la terrasse. La propriétaire est vraiment très sympathique . Je recommande a 100%

Gite tout confort

Très très bon séjour dans ce super gite tout confort! Les petits plus : la piscine et du linge de maison ! La communication avec Sergine a été parfaite et que dire des petites attentions à notre arrivée. Nous recommandons cette location.

Sejour en famille

Séjour en famille dans un gîte très confortable, spacieux et pourvu de tout le nécessaire voire plus, agréable grande terrasse avec vue sur la vallée. Délicate attention: un panier avec produits du terroir nous attendait à notre arrivée. Petit bémol en cette période de canicule: il fait très chaud dans la chambre située au 1er étage. Mais la piscine commune aux autres gites nous a permis de nous rafraîchir. La région est magnifique et riche de châteaux, villes médiévales, gouffres etc... Nous reviendrons au gîte de Carlux avec plaisir.

Gîte idéal avec des enfants

Gîte très agréable, les extérieurs sont idéals pour les enfants. Magnifique vue sur le village. Le gîte est très bien équipé, spacieux, la literie est de qualité. Bon accueil des propriétaires. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour avec nos enfants.
