City Centre living just doesn't get any better. This well equipped and beautifully renovated 18th Century 4 storey Town house comes complete with 5 bedrooms, 3 exquisite bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen/ dining room, Living room, family room and patio garden.
Sitting within the ancient city walls, this home is ideal for family get together, groups of friends or a group of corporate visitors who wish to be in the centre of it all.
There are two reception rooms. The living room with flat screen TV, gas fire and Duresta sofas which can sit 12 and the Family room/Library, with a Chesterfield sofa, tub chairs, desk and wood burning stove which sits 7 comfortably.
The kitchen has been expertly designed to make cooking and entertaining easy, however with the many restaurants available in York within a 10 minute walk you may never need it.
The furniture and beds are all 5* hotel quality with an American King in 1 room and 3ft singles in the twin rooms. Linen and towels are provided as is soap, shower gel and the basic cleaning materials
There is parking at the rear of the property with a secure garage for a small car and another space in front. Additionally there is on street parking in front of the property available with parking permits (which can be purchased through the owner at a cost).

We live between York and Bridlington, We bought St Saviourgate to be able to restore it back to its original glory for the future generations in York. It is a wonderful home and holds a special place in our hearts having put lots of love and hard graft into making it what it is. We know you will love it.

Awesome stay in a gorgeous period property with all modern interior. The owners are very accommodating and I would highly recommend this property. Fantastic central location.
Perfect location, beautiful house
The property was lovely, it fully catered to our needs was immaculately clean and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there.
Serena was super helpful in terms of answering and questions we had around the visit and was always very quick to respond.
The location is ideal as you can potter straight into York without the hassle of booking taxis.

Wonderful stay in centre of York
Excellent first impressions and they improved as we realised potential of house and garden. Location was superb within walking distance of all amenities in York: cultural, historical, shopping and social. House was ideal venue to celebrate a 60th birthday with three sons and their families. Would recommend without reservation.
Great equipment. Owner very obliging and welcoming.
One point the garage only takes a small car - in fact we were thrilled to go by train.
Beautiful house, great location.
We stayed at the house for a hen weekend. We also went to York races. The house is beautiful loads of space, plenty of bathrooms , beds were really comfy. The house is in a great location, taxi rank at the bottom of street , short walk too bars and restaurants .Highly recommend this house .
Fabulous house, perfect city centre location
The house was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for our group of 11 ladies! The bedrooms were lovely and the kitchen and sitting room were large enough for us all to eat and spend time together as a group. The location of the house was perfect - extremely central, meaning we could walk to the restaurants, bars etc... and the 2 parking spaces were a bonus for such a central location. The owner of the house was extremely helpful too. Overall, I couldn't recommend this property highly enough.
An gorgeous property in an excellent location
This property is amazing and exceeded all of my expectations. Every bedroom was decorated to a high specification and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. The whole house is beautifully decorated inside and provides all of the home comforts too. One of the highlights for me was that you could view the York Minster from various rooms in the house. The property is in walking distance to most of Yorks attractions but is located on a really quite little side street so that you don't hear any noise from the town centre.
All in all, if you are looking for property that has that extra special something then this is the one for you!
