City Centre living just doesn't get any better. This well equipped and beautifully renovated 18th Century 4 storey Town house comes complete with 5 bedrooms, 3 exquisite bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen/ dining room, Living room, family room and patio garden.

Sitting within the ancient city walls, this home is ideal for family get together, groups of friends or a group of corporate visitors who wish to be in the centre of it all.

There are two reception rooms. The living room with flat screen TV, gas fire and Duresta sofas which can sit 12 and the Family room/Library, with a Chesterfield sofa, tub chairs, desk and wood burning stove which sits 7 comfortably.

The kitchen has been expertly designed to make cooking and entertaining easy, however with the many restaurants available in York within a 10 minute walk you may never need it.

The furniture and beds are all 5* hotel quality with an American King in 1 room and 3ft singles in the twin rooms. Linen and towels are provided as is soap, shower gel and the basic cleaning materials

There is parking at the rear of the property with a secure garage for a small car and another space in front. Additionally there is on street parking in front of the property available with parking permits (which can be purchased through the owner at a cost).

Beautiful house, perfect location.

I organised for a group of 13 to stay at this house in August, for my friends 'Hag Do'. The house was beautiful, clean and a very good size. We did not feel cramped despite there being 13 of us.

Despite have looked at the location on a map, I was surprised but jsut how close we were to the centre. Everything was in walking distance and we did not need one taxi all weekend (even when wearing heels!).

Another big advantage was that we managed to park 4 cars at the house (£5/day) and another 2 at a nearby pub. I don't know many other houses in a city centre that would have such easy parking.

Serena was great throughout and was very accommodating.

I would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon.

Serene and Paul's property is wonderful and I and my family enjoyed our 4 night stay.

Ideal location, in the very center of York and yet very peaceful. We sat in the garden every evening, around that amazing twelve seat cube, we had the kitchen door open when we were there and never heard the noise of the city traffic which was only a five minute wald from the house. Beautifully decorated and maintained. We were a family of 9 and there were enough dishes/glasses/cutlery etc for an army! A big thank you Serena and Paul from myself and my family.
