Bovisand Lodge is a historical Grade 2 listed Country House set in the Devon countryside providing luxury holiday accommodation with an outstanding 4 Star, Gold Award, Heritage Apartment in the wing of the house.

Situated in an unspoilt wooded valley running down from the hills of Staddon Heights the grounds open onto a safe sandy beach facing Plymouth Breakwater and the Cornish coast, yet is only seven miles from Plymouth City Centre. This charming country house was for many years the home to Joseph Whidbey, the Superintendent Engineer of the great Plymouth Breakwater.

Bovisand is set in a quiet, secluded location adjacent to the coastal path where you can relax and enjoy easy walks with breathtaking views or play golf at the nearby Staddon Heights course.Generations of guests have enjoyed the peace and tranquillity and appreciate the quality environment, which has made their stay memorable and special.

We would advise all guests to consider taking out holiday insurance.

Guest will be required to pay for any loss or damage to the apartment, furniture or equipment provided.

Children under 16 must be supervised in the swimming pool by a parent at all times. (A local authority condition for swimming pools without lifeguards)

Children under the age of FIVE are not permitted within the apartments.

A 25% Deposit must be paid with the completed Booking Form listing all members in your party. Only persons stated on the booking form will be permitted to occupy this unit unless the management is otherwise notified. On the event of cancellation the deposit will be refunded less a £25 administration fee.

Final payment of account is due ONE CALENDAR MONTH before day of arrival.
