About this property

This beautiful town house, with registration number ETV / 4500, is located in a privileged place, a few minutes from the center on foot, but with great privacy and unbeatable views towards the highest mountain of Mallorca el Puig Major, the town and the whole valley in general. Easily located, it is very close to the entrance to Sóller in an area called Son Tambor, next to the disused stop of the Sóller Train. From its windows you can see a few meters away the quiet passage of the Train, the sunrises behind the highest peaks of the island as well as the twilight towards the port of Sóller. It is an independent house, with a small private garden / terrace, a sun terrace. Due to its location, it is a very fast connection with the other places of interest in the area, whether it is the Port of Sóller, Deià or Palma and the airport, located about 30 minutes away by car. It has a large and equipped kitchen, two living rooms, satellite TV, two spacious rooms and a fully equipped children's room (cot, bed, bathtub, etc ...), a bathroom with hydromassage and a toilet. Sit in the garden and relax taking yourself and eating the grapes of the house. Contemplate the different shades of the mountains as the sun of the day progresses. Open the window of the room and you will see a beautiful postcard of the typical Mediterranean village between the mountain and the sea, in the Sierra de Tramuntana, a World Heritage Site. No car necessary. Ideal as a starting point for excursions. Access to the farm through an ancient stairway from the Roman era. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Great Place in Beautiful Mountains

Miquel is lovely to deal with. The house is beautifully restored. We enjoyed the fact that it’s on the footpath walk to Deià over the mountains and we liked the terrace for breakfast.

Homely house, nice helpful owner, good area.

On arriving late evening we found the house clean and very comfortable and homely as soon as we arrived. The owner Miquel was waiting for us he was very friendly and helpful. From the first email when enquiring about the property I felt he was genuine and that has not changed. He helped us out with a slight language glitch with the taxi driver for our return journey to the airport. He was reassuring and would of done anything he possibly could to help I'm sure if any problems had occurred. We had no problems and the house had everything we needed (except a teapot!) we did suggest some comfier seating outside for relaxing, reading etc. The house was very comfy and cosy, modern and rustic upstairs but traditional Spanish kitchen downstairs, and had many little touches that made it homely. The basket of fresh oranges and lemons were just one of the many nice touches, very nice and much appreciated! The house was in a great position for us, 10-15 minutes walk to the centre. There are two supermarkets 5-10 minutes walk on both routes to or from the centre. One has good fresh croissants and bread, the other has a fresh meat and deli counter, also the bus station is nearly opposite one of the supermarkets. Port Soller is only around 10 minutes on the bus but they are a little few and far between I think. The tram takes longer and is always busy, there are taxi's and they cost around 8 Euro. We didn't feel the need for a car as we like walking and the busses and the train are all within easy walking distance. There are many nice walks in and around soller we ran out of time, there were many more things we would of liked to do. We visited the Botanical Gardens which is opposite the road end to the house. The gardens seemed to have bad reviews, but we spent around an hour and half there (there is a little museum too but it shuts at 2pm) we didn't regret going it was a nice relaxing garden. The centre has plenty of eateries and there are little ones hidden away which you come across, and the fresh orange juice that they squeeze when you order is lovely. In a nutshell a great house a lovely owner in a lovely area. Great holiday, didn't want to come home and certainly wouldn't hesitate to go back! Many Thanks!

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt für vielfältige Ziele

Das Haus ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Ortsbesichtigungen, Ausflüge in verschiedene Himmelsichtungen. Wir waren in der Tramuntana wandern, sind mit dem Auto in verschiedene Bergdörfer gefahren und natürlich mit der Straßenbahn nach Port de Sóller und mit dem "Roten Blitz" nach Palma. Dieser Zug fährt übrigens genau am Haus vorbei. Da das aber planmäßig 12x zwischen 9 Uhr morgens und 20.30 Uhr abends passiert, bekommt man das kaum mit. Eigentlich haben wir uns gefreut, wenn wir dem Fahrer mal zuwinken konnten und ein Signaltuten zurückbekamen. :) Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, der Vermieter Miquel absolut hilfsbereit. Da das Trinkwasser von Touristen nicht unbedingt getrunken werden soll, (Einheimische kommen damit klar), stehen genügend große Wasserflaschen kostenlos bereit. Auch das ist dadurch überhaupt kein Problem. Jederzeit gern wieder!

Our stay at the Rustic House could not have been any better. Miquel our host met us at the house and was so friendly and welcoming. He showed us the whole house and explained everything. Also got great advice about the town and the surrounding areas. The nice surprise was the many items Miquel provided for our stay. We especially loved squeezing fresh orange juice each morning. The house was also fully air conditioned, so on those very hot days & nights it was a savior. It is a very short walk to the centre of town, the train and the supermarket, and the bus stop is out front of the house. The bus to Port Soller only takes 15 minutes. If you decide to stay here in Soller you will be very pleased you did. Wayne & Paul

Fantastic stay

A beautiful house that was fully stocked with all the necessary requirements to house a family. We even had some cold beers and wine waiting for us on arrival. The host Miquel collected us from the bus stop and brought us to the house. He was so welcoming and helpful. Fully recommend this place.
