Best accommodation ever stayed in!

When we booked our stay we did not understand why an accommodation with these specs was still available and still so affordable. When we arrived we were welcomed by the owner who was very friendly and helpful. The house is very spacious, more spacious than the photo's on the website can tell. Everything is complete, very clean and some appliances like the watercooker, microwave were (almost) never used. The bedrooms downstairs stay cool, even during hot days. The garden is very big and is bordering a field and forest. Our children had space enough to play and explore. Are there any drawbacks? Not really actually; maybe the fact that there is no supermarket around the corner, but even that is just a 15 minutes drive. In short: we can definitely recommend this place!

A éviter...

Le gîte est bien situé pour faire de jolies promenades et il y a un bel espace dans le jardin. Les fournitures : pas d'essuies de vaisselle, pas un seul rouleau de papier toilette, un sac poubelle pour tenir I semaine avec 4/5 personnes. Il y aura une liste reprenant tout le matériel à disposition que vous devrez vérifier vous-mêmes à l’arrivée ( nombre de couverts, nombre de verres etc.). Ce que nous n'avons pas fait. Trop de travail pour des vacances et puis surtout ce n'est pas à nous de le faire. Si vous venez avec des enfants préparez-vous à recevoir des remarques du loueur pour qu’ils n’abîment rien... Et attention à ne pas mettre les doigts sur les armoires de la cuisine car le matériel étant poreux cela rend le nettoyage plus difficile... Et pour couronner le tout, nous eûmes droit à deux jours de désagréments complets: la douche ne s'écoulait pas et les toilettes refoulaient dans la douche! Le propriétaire qui était au courant, nous a envoyé, deux jours plus tard, un vidangeur pour solutionner le problème du à une mauvaise conception des écoulements des eaux usagées. Il aurait pu nous laisser l'usage des toilettes de sa propre maison située à 50 mètres.. Ce furent évidemment 48 H très difficiles ( odeurs nauséabondes, enfant malade) et nous dûmes même nettoyer et désinfecter les lieux après le passage du vidangeur. Bref, difficile de conseiller cette location....

gite agréable et parfaitement situé

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce gite magnifique et très bien équipé . Ce gite est parfaitement situé pour visiter les principaux sites, la quiétude qui y règne permet de se ressourcer et profiter de belles balades aux alentours Les propriétaires sont charmants et avenants Ils nous ont très bien accueillis et nous les remercions de leur attention à notre égard Une bonne adresse à garder et à transmettre

Gite très beau et accueil très agréable

Dans un cadre très tranquille, très beau gîte, tout neuf et très bien équipé, belle terrasse. De plus ce gîte se trouve entre la vallée de la Dordogne et la vallée du Lot où se trouvent les plus beaux sites à visiter. Les propriétaires sont très accueillant, cette escapade de 15 jours dans le lot est un vrai plaisir pour les amoureux de la nature, visites des grottes/villes magnifiques, et sportifs (canoé, vélo...)
