Nice apartment, 10 minutes to Piazza San Marco, 5 min to water tram and Academia. Comfortably furnished, no problems with anything. The only possible improvement would be to put stronger lightbulbs, the apartment is a little dim. But that is a minor thing. We had a great stay.
We had a lovely time in this apartment, it's very central, great for the academia vaparetto stop and the lady who met us was very helpful. The apartment isn't luxurious and we did miss a few things about being in a hotel but it suited us for this short break and would definitely consider again if we decided against a hotel. Very clean and well equipped.
Unfortunately the flat was in the ground floor so we don't get light during the day. We have to turn on the lights. The apartment smells mould so i get an allergic reaction. Gabrielle wasn't there to get us to the apartment so he sent a women for us at saint angelo stop. She was helpless she sent us to a very small and expensive supermarket where we didn't found anything a part chips and soda (no milk, no bread...the minimum wasn't found) so we had have to ask peoples and shops for a supermarket in the neighborhood. Sheet beds were dirty and we stayed for tree days so we didn't get enough towels (one towels for tree days!). We have to buy bathroom tissue also.
Gabrielle answer to all my mails and let us stay at the appartement to 2:00 pm our last day.
This was an excellent choice for a last-minute break for one person: very handy for an early start at the Accademia to beat the rush and convenient for all the main sights and transport (including the Alilaguna from the airport).
I was met at the vaporetto stop by Gabriele who took me to the apartment and he had been excellent in answering my questions by email in the days before my arrival.
It was perfect for me (sofa in the bedroom) but if I had been staying with my husband then we would probably have chosen somewhere with a sittingroom so it would be more comfortable.
The property was in a great location with a square just around the corner as well as a water bus stop around the other corner. All the sights were walking distance or if you preferred minutes away by water bus. The property was large and very clean and just renovated the previous year. Lots of windows and light. The owner, Gabriele, was very helpful and friendly. When we left to go to the Cruise Line terminal, he helped with our luggage and waited with us till the water taxi arrived. Very nice guy! The only thing missing in the apartment was a TV and a living room. But we spent time only sleeping, eating breakfast in the well equipped kitchen and showering and then off for a day of sight seeing. We do suggest that a couple more sets of towels would be nice since we stayed 7 days (we should have asked!). Also, the towels need some softeners used when washed. Otherwise a great time and would recommend this apartment.
Nothing but good things to say about the owner Gabriel, went out of his way to help with an issue we had with our luggage, the situation of the loft is an excellent location, We were very satisfied with the property the amenities, the access to waterboats. Gabriel was helpful also with our departure plans on how to get to the Terminal for cruise departures., also how to get around Venice in general. Thanks again for everything would recommend without hesitation.
