Welcome to "Au Charme des Belles Pierres" located 1.5 km from Port-en-Bessin, our cottage restored in the style of Bessin houses, with a touch of exotic outdoors.

You will find there two terraces for moments of relaxation as well as the Pizza Oven and the Barbecue to spend pleasant evenings.

The rooms of the house are bright and comfortable for 6 people, you will be provided with sheets, pillowcases and towels for your stay.

In the middle of all the historic landing sites, 7 km from Bayeux, Medieval City, as well as its cathedral and its tapestry classified by UNESCO.

Great location, perfect for kids

We stayed here with our 2 children 1 & 3 and it was perfect as the house is very child friendly and they loved the climbing frame/slide, garden in general. The location of the property is excellent with Port En Bessant just down the road for your morning croissants and plenty of large super markets near by. Bayeux was a highlight for us and very near to the D Day beaches.

D day 75 visit

A nice property which was well equipped and functional if not a little shy of some home comforts. Great location for our needs despite the whole village having all the roads dug up for essential work which was challenging at times and caused access to the house at times hard work despite the best efforts of the workmen. We spent plenty of time out both either running or using bikes hired locally from Bayeux and I would strongly advise this as a walk into Port En Bessin is about a mile. Use of the car isn’t required at all if your happy to get out and about yourself. Some great places locally to eat and drink. The only issue I have with the property that we weren’t made aware of was a requested 80 Euro charge at time of arrival of which we weren’t aware of either from the owner or the website. This was for apparently a cleaning charge.I found this disappointing and somewhat surprising and left a sour taste. We were given the choice to clean ourselves, which to me definitely isn’t an option when im both on holiday and unaware of said charge. Further to this I was surprised to find we had to make our own bed on arrival both of which we found disappointing.
