Lovely area, grounds in a great location
A little disappointed learning the day before that an extra fee was to be charged and asked for payment on arrival along with a charge for cleaning the apartment after our departure. This was due to us arriving late at night but wasnt stated in the booking. I can understand the antisocial hours but the fee did seem extortionate. We could not recover this as it was paid outside of Vrbo app. The apartment was true to the advertised page although a few things to mention that i wasnt happy with is:- Air-conditioning was only in the lounge area. One bedroom had a fan and the other had no means to cool it down apart from leaving the window open but that was noisy with the road and neighbours.
The lock on the bedroom patio doors was totally broken off and couldnt be secured, luckily there were shutters that could be closed when we left the apartment.
The electrical socket in the same bedroom had come away from the wall and sparked when used!
Two out of the 4 deck chairs were broken.
There were out of date condiments left in the cupboard.
I found blood on one of the chopping boards which makes me wonder about such a high cleaning fee.
On the plus side, the apartment was in a lovely location and the pool and grounds were kept well. The area had everything to offer within walking distance.
Just a few things to tweak by the owners and this easily could of been perfect
