About this property

In the heart of the landing beaches, between Arromanches and Colleville sur mer (American cemetery), 9km from Bayeux, 35km from Caen, we offer you in a former fisherman's building on the seafront, an apartment with a marine atmosphere classified 4 keys by Clévacances located at first floor its area is approximately 55m².
The building was completely renovated in 2016.
It is composed of a large living room with a fitted kitchen with SEA VIEW, with dining area for 4 people, a high-quality convertible sofa for regular sleeping (15 cm mattress), a bedroom with a double bed, a TV lounge with a large SEA VIEW corner sofa, and a new feature in 2019, a bathroom with a large XXL shower 180x80 with wc, private cellar.

Our Escape to Normandy with a fantastic View

We had a wonderful time in Geraldine's property. It had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Geraldine was a very attentive host and gave us tips on places to visit and which of the local restaurants were best to visit. The view was amazing, I would sit on the window seat and drink coffee in the morning and wine in the evening and watch the fishing boats. The property is ideally placed to visit the D-Day beaches and Bayeux. We caught a train to Caen which was very easy from Bayeux, just 3 stops. We would highly recommend this property and Geraldine as a host and will return one day!

Clean, well equipped, comfortable and immaculate with pleasant views of the harbour.

This property is very well located for anyone wishing to visit the Normandy beaches and places of historical interest, in particular Bayeux..The apartment is well designed and Geraldine, the owner has paid great attention to detail in order to make it as comfortable and well equipped as possible.It is also close to the local bars and restaurants. There is on street parking available which we were always able to access.The apartment itself has everything you need and we had a lovely fortnight.Initially accessing WiFi was a problem but Geraldine quickly resolved this issue for us. Although there was TV and dvds, there were no English channels available for us to watch .Geraldine was most welcoming and keen to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible.

Fabulous apartment, spotlessly clean, great views.

We were welcomed by Geraldine who is exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering advice on what to see in the area. The apartment is tastefully decorated and furnished, the overall theme is in keeping with the harbour. It was fully equipped with modern appliances and was spotlessly clean throughout. Everything is provided, so there is no need to take anything. There was even a welcome gift of wine, rose cider and pate waiting for us in the fridge, and chocolates on the bed. We have booked again for next summer.

Lovely town and lovely accommodation. We relaxed into both very quickly and passed a brilliant week.

Secure. Well designed interior. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen lacked for nothing. Great sense of style throughout which created a super ambience. Geraldine the owner was welcoming and gracious, full of joy information and supportive both before, during and after our visit. Facilities were all we would wish to make self catering easy and relaxing. A wonderful jewel to discover.
