Wow!!! A penthouse in downtown Vannes...

If only it was in Boston, we'd try to buy it from Gascon! There are no words other than superlatives to describe this property. It's was as if we died and went to heaven. Absolutely every aspect of this apartment deserves 5 stars. The secure parking, a chef's kitchen, the abundance of light, the terrace surrounding the the entire place, the availability of a totally outfitted loft and a location that was a 5 minute walk from the old city and the fact that an elevator deposited you in front of the door to the apartment... What else could you possibly need or want on a holiday? Oh, there was also Gascon--a most gracious owner who took time to orient us to all of the features and amenities in the unit.

If you plan on visiting Vannes, this is definitely a place that should serve as your home away from home.

Superb rental

From the moment of booking this apartment we have not been disappointed. Mr Buffe has been very helpful and dealt with any of my queries with in a few hours. The property is in excellent repair and decor. The property is great for walking in to the main town with everything you need on the doorstep. The terraces provided peace and quiet to sit and read if we did not feel like venturing out. The parking provided additional peace of mind especially as we had arrived by motorbike. The property is well furnished with comfortable beds and the facilities in the apartment were second to none. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for an up market holiday accommodation in a quiet area. The TV does not have English TV channels and so make sure you take some decent books to read or some music to play. Thank you once again for the superb rental.

Great bright clean apartment in the middle of it all

This apartment is very spacious, bright, well equiped and extremely clean. It has all what is needed for a comfortable stay. The heart of the town is within 1-2 minutes walk. Parking is very convenient at 1-2 minutes walk. Great location to visit the coast. Pierre was very prompt and provided us with all the information we needed. I would definitely stay there again..

Beautiful, well located, spacious apartment

My family of 6, 4 adults and 2 teens stayed here for 3 nights. The apartment is spacious, immaculately clean, well equipped, and looks great. It is accessed by a lift or by stairs. Our car was parked in a secure underground car park 50m from the apartment entrance. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the old town, a perfect location. Our host was attentive and helpful and instantly contactable throughout our stay. Highly recommended.

Superb property, superb location for exploring Vannes and surrounding areas

We arrived at the property and were met by the owners. Communication before we arrived with the owners had been good. We arrived by car and a secure car park is directly opposite the apartment. Another big bonus was the owners gave us a pass for the car park so it was free for our 9 day stay. The apartment is beautiful, nice views from the terrace. The rooms are very spacious and have everything you need. For 2 of us, there is a large kitchen, dining area and bedroom and ensuite downstairs, so we never needed to venture upstairs. This apartment would definately be big enough for a family of 4. Internet access is fast. The owners were very helpful and provide any information you need about your stay. Vannes town centre started literally at the end of the street, so 2 minutes walk. Vannes port was a 15 minute walk, but it is through all the beautiful winding streets so it never felt that long a walk. We would definately stay at this apartment again.

One word of caution, which does not relate to the owners or apartment but does relate to the car park....it is shut on Sundays so access is only gained with the pass....we left ours in car all week so that we always remembered it. Luckily, a side door was open and we managed to get our car, after a slight panic! The owners had offered to call the car park if we hadnt managed to retrieve it so all good.
