Great Property

Excellent property and great host but a good half hour drive from Sarlat and the cleaning fee needs to be advertised up front

Absolutely Perfect 5 bedroom Gite 25 mins drive north of Sarlat

This Gite is absolutely fantastic, the pool area is the best we have been to, the house is spacious and very well laid out, five bedrooms including the separate little gite (this is 15 metres from the main house so perfect if you need that extra room. outside areas are all well furnished and the Gardens are vast and beautiful, the owners live in the house next door if required, very friendly but as we did not have any issues we did not see them after checking in. Two things that were frustrating the were property is NOT in Sarlat, the map on the site marks it as just in the south of the town!! it is in fact 25 minutes drive north of Sarlat (if you have not been to Sarlat then you are missing one of the best towns in France) , nearest shops were 6km away, please do not book if you think it is walking distance to Sarlat or local shops/cafe/bar. After Booking and no where did i see any mention beforehand i was informed the week before arriving that a 150euro cleaning fee that was payable on the last morning, this should really be in the booking process in my opinion. if you are looking for a perfect Gite for a large family or friends then this is one of the best. I highly recommend.

Lovely week in the sun

The house was perfect for our group of 3 families. We loved the heated pool and the air con was much appreciated at night. We spent lots of time chilling by the pool with bbqs in the evening. Hosts were on hand when needed but did not disturb us.

Beautiful property, very well fitted out. My family enjoyed everyday in the pool and did not wish to leave when the time came - we would return again tomorrow if we could! Well worth the long journey from Nottingham. The owners are very kind and attentive. The website is a little confusing with regard to location but it was fine when we found Jayac on the map - look for the D62 north of Salignac. The air conditioning was particularly welcome as the temperature was in the high 20's/low 30's

Fantastic Houses and Pool

Just spent 2 weeks here and we all loved it. The owners are friendly and helpful but discrete. All elecrical equipment and fittings in the house and gite are new, it has everything you could need. The beds are comfortable and all the rooms are lovely. There are plenty of seating areas and tables to eat together. The pool area is amazing. The house is not actually in Sarlat, the map on here is inaccurate but we loved the rural location. Lots of places to visit near by, it is a beautiful area. Would recommend it to people who want a nice, quiet holiday.
