Wonderful stay

Well presented, clean and tidy in all respects. Great hosts. As with others, access with a wide car is a bit of a challenge. Worth pointing out to the British that the wi-fi code is continuous without spaces. Would definitely use again. Many thanks Tipper family.

Lovely Gite

We arrived to a spotlessly clean house which provided pretty much everything we needed for our holiday. It was light and airy with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. There are views in the distance of the countryside and despite being fairly close to neighbours retained privacy. It was close for us to visit Giverny and Chartres and we also spent time in Vernon and visited Chateau Bizy. Perfectly sited for many other places and for Paris too if you wish. Unfortunately the weather wasn't too good which meant no sitting outside in the evening so we did relax by listening to music and reading. The TV has few channels and unfortunately there wasn't a DVD player (or perhaps we just could not find it!) having taken a couple of films knowing the forecast was not great. This wasn't too much of a problem though as good food and wine made up for it. We would recommend the gite and thank the owners for their care in preparing it. One tip: the parking is very tight but once you get the hang of it (with the help of accurate parking sensors!) it is ok.

Relaxing getaway

The property is beautifully presented and located in a lovely quiet village - perfect for a relaxing getaway. Giverny is incredibly close, and the beautiful town of Vernon is even closer. Versailles is reachable for a day out. The only thing that was missing for us was wifi, but some may see that as a bonus!

Great stay in an excellent location near Giverny

We enjoyed three nights in this well situated cottage in the quiet village of Menilles. Emanuelle and Isabelle were very welcoming and helpful hosts - we very much appreciated the local 'cidre' that was left for us! The cottage was well maintained and clean with an excellent garden for enjoying the sunny weather. It is situated in a stunning part of France with easy access to Giverny (Monet's House and Garden), Vernon, Le Roche Guyon, Lyons Le Foret and Chateau Versailles. Thanks to you both for your hospitality.

A great stay!

A very nice, clean and cosy house which has practically everything you need including a hairdryer and a barbecue. Comfortable for up to 6 people. A quiet place with a lot of light. Extremely welcoming and helpful hosts who gave us good ideas about what to do in the area with our 3 kids. Some nice treats will be waiting for you. Giverny is 15 min drive, Les Andelys 30 min, Versailles and Rouen 55 min. We would highly recommend it.
