'Unique' charming holiday accommodation in old farmhouse

The Lagar de Azeite is part of an old farmhouse of 100 years - ideal for a unique stay in the idyllic and peaceful countryside in the Algarve. The Lagar de Azeite is surrounded by a large 2000m² garden with olive and carob trees.

This former oil & wine warehouse can accommodate ideally 2 people (4max). Completely separate from the main house, the Lagar de Azeite is a rustic loft. Living room, kitchen and shower room are located on the ground floor. An open staircase takes you to the spacious bedroom upstairs where you have a view on the countryside.

The Lagar de Azeite is located 20min drive from the sea and 20min drive from Faro airport.
Sotavento, eastern side of the Algarve, is still very authentic and traditions are still alive. Peral (São Brás de Alportel) is the ideal base for visiting Faro, Estoi, Olhão, Loulé and Tavira. There is a wealth of unspoiled beaches on the islands Fuzeta, Faro, Culatra, Tavira, Armona, or the 'posh' beach resorts Vale do Lobo and Quinta de Lago near Loulé.

Throughout the year there are various cultural activities in the Algarve resorts, such as concerts outdoors, artisan markets, exhibitions of contemporary art in unusual locations, and many more.

Beautiful place to explore the eastern part of the Algarve

Felipes house is such a nice and charming place. We loved staying there and enjoyed the amenities it offered. We explored lots of places in the hinterland as well as the coastal areas. Everything is rather easy to reach and in this way we could visit lots of places in such a short time. Felipe was very helpful. He fetched us from São Bras and guided us to his place. He shared his knowledge about the surroundings and helped us with hiking trails and such. Overall we really loved staying there and hope to come again. Thanks Felipe.

Un petit coin de paradis

Un maison accueillante, un propriétaire sympathique prodiguant de bons conseils, un jardin de rêve et bien sûr le soleil ! Ce logement nous a pleinement comblé, il est situé dans un cadre idéal, calme et à distances raisonnables tant pour des excursions en Algarve que pour des accès aux plages.

Unique and charming house!

It was such a wonderful stay at your property, Philippe! We loved the "laid-back" charme of Sao Brás and the surrounding, the olive-trees and lavender in your garden and the so so beautiful style of the house. Philippe was also very nice and helpful with information on the area, places to eat and swim etc. Overall a perfect stay - we´d love to come back one day. Hopefully soon!! :-) Chris & Sarah
