About this property

At the foot of the Pyrenees and 1 hour south of Toulouse, the gîte de Castech welcomes you in a quiet area in the heart of the Comminge countryside and the Pyrenean foothills.

You are ideally located for skiing (27km from the Mourtis resort), in Spain (Val d'Aran at 38km), in Saint-Bertand-de-Comminges (20km) or in the spa town of Luchon (42km) .

You can easily practice mountain hiking, skiing, mountain biking, paragliding, and forest walks. The Tour de France passes regularly near the Menté and Portet-d'Aspet passes.

A few minutes on foot you can discover landscapes of the Pyrenean Piedmont and views of the Cagire massif and the Pic du Midi.

The cottage has three bedrooms (two with double bed, one with two single beds), an equipped kitchen, a living / dining room, a mezzanine / small living room, two bathrooms, a terrace with garden furniture overlooking our land trees.

Très agréable séjour...

Belle maison au calme

La résidence se situe à la sortie du village dans un cadre champêtre et au calme ce qui est appréciable lors de retour de visites. Elle n'est pas pour autant isolée. C'est d'ailleurs un proche voisin sympathique qui réside dans une villa en face du chemin goudronné qui vous remet les clefs, vous conseille et reste à votre disposition en cas de nécessité. La résidence meublée à l'ancienne dispose de tout le confort. A noter la porte d'entrée originale en 2 parties comme dans les fermes d'antan mais il suffit de fermer la partie haute pour bloquer l'ensemble. En résumé , elle est conforme à la description sur ABRITEL. On recommande. Bon rapport qualité/prix.

What makes this property unique

The cottage is in a quiet area in the countryside. It is possible to walk or cycle from the cottage to the surrounding forest and the view of Daüsse a few minutes.
Several hikes with a beautiful view of the highest peaks nearby.
The major Pyrenean sites are easily accessible (Gavarnie, Lake Oo, Pic du Midi, Neouvielle ...), Spain is near. Nearby you can also ski (Mourtis), swim in lakes (Saint-Pet-d'Ardet) and visit historical sites (Saint-Bertrand de Comminges).
