About this property

The property lies between the Atlantic coast and the hills of the Serra do Cercal.
There are cove beaches nearby, such as Porto Covo and Zambujeira and long stretches of beach at Santo Andre. Vila Nova de Milfontes is a 10 minute drive away, an attractive resort town situated at the mouth of the River Mira. The coastal strip that runs from the port of Sines down to Cape de São Vicente is within the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina and so it is not an over developed area, quite the opposite, a real find.
As would be thought for an Atlantic coastal area, it offers sailing, surfing, diving and fishing.
Inland there are plenty of opportunities for horse riding, walking, cycling and bird watching.
As a car is essential, this extends your sight seeing opportunities and makes it possible to organise a trip to Lisbon, golfing in the Algarve.

Wonderful place!

We had a very nice time in this lovely little cottage in quiet place. It was very clean and it has everything you need. We felt very comfortable the whole time. The property was beautiful and the pool area was wonderful. In front of the house we found a cozy nice place in the shadow of some oleander trees. The host stayed in contact with us and helped with all questions. We had a wonderful holiday. Thanks a lot.

Propriété très agréable et très fonctionnelle

La propriété est bien située (10 mn du centre de villa nova de Milfontes et 15 mn des plages). La côte vicentine est magnifique. Nous avons profité au maximum de l'extérieur qui est très agréable car bien exposé La maison est fonctionnelle et bien équipée.

Mooi huis en heerlijke tuin in niemandsland nabij hondenpension

Het huisje is prima van formaat en ook het zwembad en aangrenzende tuin is heerlijk. Tot rust komen onder de mooie bloesembomen bij het keurige zwembad. Dit moet echter wel tussen 10 en 16 uur. Voor en na die tijd hoor je honden, veel honden, en die blaffen, continu. Elke woning in het gehucht heeft minimaal 2 trouwe viervoeters en verderop in de straat is een asiel voor straathonden. Dit heeft onze rust drastisch verstoord. De engelse eigenaar vond het allemaal erg naar en heeft een bevriend stel gestuurd om te praten. Van hen kregen we geld voor oordoppen om te slapen en een flinke can wijn. Een aardige geste maar de zuurverdiende vakantie heeft niet de rust gebracht die we voor ogen hadden. Buiten de accomodatie is niets, ook niet in de verste verte. Voor natuur, horeca of supermarkt moet je minimaal een kwartier in de auto. De kustlijn is prachtig en de omliggende stadjes zijn erg leuk. Hier zijn we dan ook veel geweest.

Wonderful Family Holiday

We really had a wonderful time in Portugal. We found the Bungalow very nice, clean, well equipped and suitably located – just what we had looked for. Also, we enjoyed the pool very much. We would definitely like to come back sometime.

Very good

Quiet and exactly what we were looking for. Even if Robert send plenty of information, it was a little difficult to find the place, maybe my fault that forgot to enter the location in the GPS. The apartment is well equipped. Overall it was very pleasant. Thank you, Clarisse and husband, for your kind support!
